A properly designed exhaust system is critical to engine performance. Skunk2’s 76mm MegaPower RR Exhaust system for the '06-'11 Civic Si coupe was developed with this in mind and is based off of more than 15 years’ worth of racing experience. Dyno-proven for maximum horsepower, MegaPower RR systems are constructed of T-304 stainless steel, are robotically TIG welded, and feature CNC mandrel bends for a precise fit. Designed for heavily modified naturally aspirated engines as well as for turbocharged applications that require more exhaust flow than Skunk2’s 70mm MegaPower R Exhausts provide, MegaPower RR Exhausts allow engines to breathe more efficiently and produce more power thanks to larger diameter piping. MegaPower RR Exhaust systems were designed for maximum flow and power, featuring oversized tubing and mufflers, which result in a significantly louder tone when compared to other MegaPower systems. Featuring Japanese-spec, Super N1 styling, MegaPower RR Exhaust systems generate more horsepower by optimizing engine airflow and volume through carefully selected, application-specific tubing lengths and diameters and increased wave scavenging effects for more horsepower. CNC mandrel bending allows for a constant tubing diameter throughout the bend, which results in precise fitment as well as improved exhaust gas flow. Each system is fitted with a resonator, includes stainless steel flanges, and is finished off with a straight-through, low-restriction racing muffler for uninterrupted flow. Each fully polished muffler is mated to a 110mm polished tip with its own acid-etched MegaPower badge and serialized nameplate. A Skunk2 removable silencer and all necessary hardware are also included. Skunk2’s MegaPower Exhaust systems are based off of the same systems we custom build for our road racing and time attack vehicles. MegaPower Exhaust systems offer more performance, better build-quality, and the ultimate sound when compared to comparably priced systems. Features: CNC Mandrel Bent, Robotically Tig-Welded T-304 Stainless Steel 3 Inch Piping, 4.33 inch Tip with Serialized MegaPower Badge Designed for heavily modified N/A and Turbo applications Dyno-proven horsepower gains up to 30hp (depending on supporting upgrades) Removable muffler silencer and installation hardware included Fits: 2006-2011 Honda Civic (2.0L Si Coupe)

Basically a Track Racing Exhaust
It's loud, very loud, and probably the loudest, most powerful aftermarket exhaust for the 8thgen Civic. It's basically the same exhaust that Skunk2 used for its Compass360 Racing Civic Si but thicker at 76mm/3in. It allows for the best possible exhaust flow and top end power. You can tell by the resonator's smooth, thin shape compared to other thick ones that have a squared/"can," cylindrical shape. Especially with the Skunk2 Alpha race header, it's very loud/intolerable at 3000rpm or above during highway cruising. The included silencer won't work at those rpms but silences really well about 70%~ of the noise at lower speeds. The RR also doesn't rust being constructed from T304 stainless; trust me, 3 Midwest winters and running.

Very good product
Ok, let me start by saying that if you want an exhaust for a street car... this is not what you want. Even with the insert in the resonator you will find the exhaust VERY loud. You will not be able to talk to the passengers in your car, you will not be able to hear the radio, and you will irritate every person on your block when you go to the beer store at 2AM.If you are looking for a performance exhaust for a track day car, this is a very good option. Easy install especially if you have installed headers. Stainless steel is fantastic because it doesn't rust and the bend and welding on this system is really first rate. Fits like a glove and uses the stock route and hardware. Beware! My 06 Civic SI with headers and this system at full throttle is 101 db at 50 feet. With the optional insert it lowered to 98 db. That's pretty loud for a street car.

Not as loud as the reviews make the Skunk2 out to be.
The Skunk2 may be the best exhaust for the 8th gen Civic (in terms of sound), but it isn't as loud as everyone is making it out to be. The muffler still muffles the sound more than I'd like it too, although it is still decently loud (a deep tone). My original magnaflow exhaust had corroded right before the muffler, and without that muffler, the sound was amazing. The Skunk2 has taken away from that sound, unfortunately. This is where I am somewhat disappointed. Before, the straight exhaust was so obnoxious and loud with all the popping sounds from the engine firing, that I enjoyed it quite a bit. Now, the sound has been muffled and the popping isn't as noticable as the Skunk2 muffler is killing this.Don't listen to these reviews that say you can't listen to music nor hold a conversatiom with this exhaust. That's completely false. Again, this exhaust has a deep loud tone to it, and sounds fine with VTECH, but is not as loud as I had hoped for.Other than this complaint, the exhaust looks good and installed perfectly. It was only difficult removing the old exhaust as it had corroded overtime (95k miles living in the Mid-West). I don't believe the Skunk2 exhaust is worth it's price, but again may be the best you can get for the 8th gen Civic. I did do decent research before making this purchase, so I know that all the other exhausts would likely be a bigger disappointment for me, personally. I really enjoy loud cars.EDIT:After a month of use, I noticed rattling from time to time. Turns out the way the exhaust was designed, it runs against the rear coil over springs (refer to photo). This sucks! There's plenty of room where this could've been avoided in design. I really don't want to dock another star, but I will make it known through review. For the price, I'm extremely disappointed. My auto shop said they'd need to weld another hook to the frame to assist in pulling the exhaust away from the spring. Not doing that, so I'm stuck with the outcome.

That's pretty damn awersome
I did a lot research for aftermarket exhaust for my 07 civic si coupe and finally choose this one. It's easy to install, no need for welding(if the original exhaust on ur car was in good attach with the catalytic converter not as me). It's pretty much the same tone as what i c on Youtube. It's loud during low rpm, but is fine on high rpm. If u drive daily under 3500rpm is ok, 4000-5000 range is damn loud with poping sometime. It's worth every penny and hope u guys enjoy it!
