Olympic Muscle Clamp Collars (Black or Red or Blue) (Pair)

I have used a lot of collars in my day and these are my favorite so far, Quick and Easy on and off and the best part is that they don't unhook them selves like other brands do.The other brand on Amazon called the "Lock-Jaw" has poor reviews, they open easily when dropping the bar. Rogue Fitness sells their version of that 'Lock-Jaw' that actually works if you want that style... but this style is my personal favorite.I am glad I found them on Amazon because I had a giftcard and that was the one thing I wanted because I already knew I liked "Muscle Clamps". and after using mine I can say they work just as well as other "Muscle Clamp" brand collars I have used; I am able to drop plenty of weight from overhead with these and the collars keep the plates snugly in place.The only thing I think could be improved upon is the purchase of the product from Weightlifter's Warehouse via Amazon. What I mean is it would be much easier if I could just click that I want Red or Blue or Black and be done with it. I ended up having to email Weightlifter's Warehouse telling them that I wanted Red , they NEVER responded so I didn't know if they ever got the email... BUT I did end up receiving the Red pair in the mail so either they ended up getting my email or I just I got lucky, I guess I will never know.hope this helps

I was using the spring clamps, which are sometimes difficult to squeeze and never really instill a lot of confidence.. These are great, they work quickly and simply and provide a secure grip on the bar immediately. Only thing is there are a lot of plastic components and I wonder if they'll wear out? Time will tell, but so far these are the best.

Well built, lock firmly to bar without slipping, easy to get on and off. Great for normal, standard weightlifting.But if you use bumper weights and drop your weights, they pop open. Dropping with just 95# (25# plates on each side) from shoulder height, and both pop into the open position every single time.

These things are awesome! High quality just like what you'd find in a big gym. They fit my olympic bar perfectly. I have a true olympic size bar, which has just slightly smaller than 2" ends. Just like another reviewer, there was no option to select the color when I purchased them, so the seller contacted me to see which color I'd like, and I had them in my hands 2 days later! It was a great buying experience. I ordered the blue, and I like them a lot since everything else in my home gym is black or silver. It makes them easy to find. I highly recommend these since they are so much easier to use. Much nicer than fiddling with my old ones that you have to squeeze to open up enough to get them around the bar. Maybe I'll use those to work on my grip strenght :-)

These are exactly what I wanted. I attend a gym where there are never enough of these clamps. Previously, I ordered clamps and they were the wrong ones. This time I decided to speak to the seller to make sure I was buying the right ones. The seller was fantastic! He was very diligent in communicating with me to make sure I get the right size. He even spoke to me on the phone. He was not the seller when I ordered the incorrect size. This seller was the best. These are the best collars I have ever used for quick on and off use. Very tight grip on the bar so that the weights don't slide around. The vendor even asked what color I wanted (I went with blue so I can find them quickly in my home weight room). If you are using the cheap spring tension grips you will love these collars since they take no effort. They are made of plastic so they might not survive dropping a 100 lb plate on them, but I love how easy they go on the bar. The two combine only weigh .8 lbs, so not for official competition use. Highly recommend for anyone with a home gym.

I have been using the regular spring collars that the gym has. They are terrible! They don't fit olympic bars half the time, don't stay on regular bars either. Got myself some of these...Love using them! Go on smoothly, as well as come off! They work great for my lifts as well. Watch your stuff though! People see that you are using these in the gym, they will go to where you are working and actually take your clamps off the bars. Trust me, it happened to me!

These work really well. The fit is just right for a 2 inch bar and they are very easy to get on and off fast.They come in pairs of red, black or blue.
