Great cleaner
My go-to cleaner for tattoo tubes. It breaks down tattoo ink very quickly. Used this stuff for years. I wish they made it in half the quantity because it does last a long time and I don't want to worry about having expired detergent if my state inspector is picky.

Cleans glass and assorted metal, like magic ...
I don't necessarily recommend it for this application (as it's not specifically indicated for kitchen use, bahaha), but, well, any protein stain or general crap on glassware, pots and pans, or kitchen utensils, preferably in hot water, it will outright eliminate, or soften to the point where it can be easily removed. Examples: * Baking pans/sheets/racks with burned goop. Let soak as needed. * Milk/soy protein on stainless steel, from boiling milk or whatever. Let soak as needed. * Glassware/silverware that the dishwasher leaves filmy or with rings -- just leave it to soak for a little while. Rinsing usually is enough afterward, or maybe a quick wipe. * Fine strainers clogged with difficult to remove gunk. * Basically, any extremely tedious or outright impossible kitchen task. * You may have luck removing blood stains from fabric. If new, they will come out completely fairly quickly. If very old, it make take too long but may be helpful if used in combination with some other cleaner. Test to make sure that fabric and color is not damaged. * It's possible to use a small amount as an adjunct in a dishwasher, but an amount that doesn't foam excessively doesn't seem to be of any benefit. Maybe the supposed non-foaming version would be useful. I view this dust from this stuff as very unhealthy to inhale or (ick) expose to eyes, so when I close the carton, I do it facing away from it at arm's length. I also use gloves around it. In the short term it isn't as damaging to skin as lye. In the long term, I'm not sure. But when you have a horrible food cleaning problem to solve, this will solve it, and it *will* clean that not-really-clean glassware and silverware for you to a sparkle by just soaking and rinsing. It's too expensive to do that regularly, but when you get tired of semi-clean dishes, go for it. Hope this is helpful.

Works
Bought a distressed home that had per urine (at least I really, really hope it was per urine) soaked into the concrete in one room. It reeked. Several applications of this greatly reduced the smell, allowing a coat of Killz Original to seal the remainder.

Works well, really cleans a coffee maker well when I used it a few times.
Co-worker has an electric Turkish coffee maker at work, and we've been making Turkishesque coffee at work brewed in milk. The milk and sugar forms a pretty hard cooked on layer of scalded milk at the bottom of the ibrik. An overnight soak in Tergazyme really eats through that layer and it literally wipes off the next day. The phosphates also really cuts through grease really well, but have to reconcile with the environmental implications of that. I've since gotten a brush to scrub at cooked on residue w/ phosphate free dish soap, but just wanted to comment on the effectiveness of this detergent and I miss its effectiveness.

Recommendation from an antique chandelier restoration company
Love it! We are an antique chandelier restoration company. We recently received several thousand antique crystals that were the most filthy we've ever seen in 40 years. They were covered in decades of kitchen grease, cigarette smoke, mold and latex paint. They were pulled off antique kitchen fixtures from a mold house. The remediation company thought the fixtures were to be trashed, and spray painted the rooms with the fixtures still hanging. Cleaning these chandeliers and their crystals would have been cost prohibitive using standard procedures. So we looked for a chemical solution that was not a highly toxic, expensive solvent. We mixed up a test batch of this product in hot water. At normal dilution it made a noticeable difference. That alone was stunning. However, when we mixed it at 4x normal dilution the gunk just melted off in a few hours. Now they look brand new! And, we still have 80% of the alconox container left. It's extremely economical. No fumes! We're extremely impressed.

Perfect product. Fast shipping.
Perfect product. Fast shipping. I was able to clean a horrible room in short time, where I had spent all day on one in the same condition without using Tergazyme. I will be purchasing again. I take it to work to use also because I find it to be more sudsy, or detergent, than the Alconox we use at work, and it leaves the work collection jars looking very clean. It makes short work of removing grunge. The seller provides excellent pricing and fast shipping. Very pleased.

Cleans delicate CPAP gear well
Does exactly what I needed it to do. Removes the proteinaceous (mucus) solids from the gear where no brush can get to, without damaging the headgear/air tubing. between normal replacement cycles. The result is I don't re-inoculate myself with sinus infection causing bacteria, or destroy the $1000+ headgear/humidifying chamber with the wrong disinfectants. Tergazyme is recommended by Respironics for use in Australia:Americans are too dumb to use a CHEMICAL I guess. It's not nearly as hazardous as toilet cleaner or drain cleaner. Use responsibly and you'll enjoy fresh-smelling CPAP/APAP gear.

Removes Cat Pee and its Odor!
I purchase this for removing proteins on my forceps before the autoclave, but I stumbled upon success when I tried to wash something one more time before throwing it away .... THIS!! The only product I have found for removing cat pee and its sulfur odor. Soak washable items overnight and repeat if necessary. I haven't tried it yet on skunk odor but if someone else does, let the rest of us know how it works!
