Very strong, versatile bits
I purchased these bits so that I could put up blinds on a metal window frame. I have an old ceramic power drill that could drill through just about anything, but I realized that the problem was the bits that I had was not strong enough to penetrate metal. These bits did not dissapoint. They easily allowed the drill to drill through the metal quickly and easily. I am pleased with this purchase.

Quality and a Nice Price.
I tend to break the smaller bits and this package of quality drill bits helps me continue to put up window blinds around the house.

Durable and Sharp, But Could Last Longer
The Amoolo 1/4" Cobalt Drill Bits are sharp and cut through metal, wood, and plastic with ease. They don’t overheat quickly, and the precision is great. The value for a 10-pack is solid. However, I noticed they wear out faster than expected when drilling through harder metals. For light to medium-duty work, they’re excellent, but for heavy use, they might not last as long. Overall, a good buy for the price!

Like Cutting thru Butter
Wow, wish I had done better research last year when I had to make holes bigger in order to put wheels on my patio furniture. This year I needed to make mounting holes bigger on shelf brackets. Brackets are made of cast iron. Used the old drill from last year & got nowhere really fast.Took a deeper dive into what kind of drill I would need for my application & colbalt was recommended. I bought these figuring if one breaks or I totally mess up (I am a newbie at all this) at least I have more.Well, no exaggeration, literally 15 seconds per hole & I was all set. These are really great drill bits.

Drilled five 1/8” stainless plates, one bit and a little Mystery oil
I’m always amazed when something really works well. I drilled one hole each in five 1/8” stainless backing plates using just one of these bits. I oiled and kept oiling the work area with Magic Mystery Oil and the bit cut lit it was nothing, nothing I tell you. If anything the bit worked better the more I used it. Very satisfied.

not looking good for these cobalt bits ... update
I have drilled 3 holes with a 7/64 bit into 1/8"mild steel angle iron, had to switch to another 7/64 bit to finish the third hole and drill the rest. Its only the first bit out of this set but its not looking too good.Your milage may vary.update: still not sure what was going on with the 7/64th bit but later I broke the tip off another bit so the hardness is really there. I resharpened it and all was well. So thinking about the 7/64 bit I sharpened it and to my surprise I had no further issues with it. Im now wondering if the bit was not quite sharpened correctly when made (possibly a friday afternoon). So these seem to be a pretty good value.
