No longer works
The light head set is a sufficient light source for close up work, I use it to build plastic models of old ships that have some very small parts, and this light comes very handy.The reason I gave it 4 stars has to do with the rechargeable time, it takes for ever, something in the neighborhood of 8 to 10 hours. Besides this, is a good light for the price.The light worked very well for about 5 to 6 months, I used often and made the work a lot easier. One day i was using it and suddenly it stooped working, I went ahead and attempted to recharged but it won't recharge (The light on the cable never went red, it stays green ) I checked all the wiring and could not see anything wrong. I going to order a new one because I need a light to do my models. This time i will keep a check and will be ready to return it if it fails again.

This is the headlamp I was looking for
The item comes in a very easy box. I unwrapped the batteries, put them in its place and I fired the lamp right away. I've tested at night and it is "the headlamp". I've had others that I bought in local stores, and this one you can see the huge difference actually. If you want to have your hands free to work on a dark room, this is the headlamp you need.

Product should removed
I liked the bightness of the lamps but am in the process of returning the product because it only works when connected to a recharging source, exactly the same prooblem with the one I returned seeveral weeks ago .If you check the responces from other customers who rated one star you will find a number of customers who experienced the identical failure. I would suspect the quality that I have experienced is far below any other product that I have purchased from Amazon.

very useful for working in the dark
The lights are bright, and the belts fit on the head well. I used it to change breakers in the electricity panel (which means power off and total darkness), and it's so much more convenient compared with hand held flash lights.

Works great after months of heavy use
I have been using this regularly for a couple of months and it's great. I'm no headlamp connoisseur so I can't compare to others, but it's nice and bright and I have no complaints.

Nice
Great for use in closeup detail work or outdoors such as hiking or fishing at night. Different levels of brightness with the brightest having a far view. A little uncomfortable on the forehead though and kinda heavy.

Not one size fits all. Way too small for an adult male head even at maximum adjustment
