Shoulder Carrier Pack Model

I got this backpack because I walk 10 minutes to my daughter's school and back from the bus stop 5 days a week, since my daughter is only 2, I had to carry her for those 10 minutes trips and it took a toll on my neck, shoulders, and back. I decided to give in and spent a bit to buy this - definitely worth it!!!Now my neck, shoulder, and back pain are so much better, this backpack seats my daughter so comfortably, the straps with the cuffs for her ankles is wonderful. She has no fear in sitting up there, waving to other people, signing a song, etc.I was concerned, at first, for the space inside of the backpack. It needed to fit my laptop, a couple of diapers, wipes, snacks, drinks, etc and I was totally prepared to carry two bags - one for my laptop and the rest of the stuff in this backpack. Boy, I was never so glad I was wrong. It absolutely fit all those and then some! It fit my two dresses, my jeans, my sweater, her jacket, along with all things mentioned above. It definitely looks small but it can fit a LOT.So, the bottom line is: It's soooo worth it :)

Great little invention. We love to go for long walks and the other backpacks are just too bulky and heavy. This pack is perfect. Light weight and compacts for so we can always have it handy

I had my 16-month old on my shoulders, and I had to remove the orange seat for her. She just couldn't get a good, stable position using it. (I realized later that the instructions say it's designed for ages 2-5.) However, I kept her on my shoulders, using the leg straps to secure her. She loved it! The photos and videos I've seen on Amazon and on the Saddle Baby website they make it look so comfortable. I would like to have been reminded that I would still be carrying the weight of my child on my shoulders, and using this carrier does not lighten the weight. I was expecting some kind of miraculous weight distribution that made it seem like my child was not even on my shoulders, but I still felt tired after carrying her for a while. Although, in a crowded place like a theme park, this is a much better option than a stroller! I'm glad I bought, and I would do it again, even though it was not as comfortable as I expected.I do have an issue with the age range for which the Saddle Baby was designed, which is 2-5. If my child can walk fast enough to keep up with me at a reasonable pace, she is going to walk. For my kids, that means I would want to use this between ages 1-3, more or less. The 4 and 5 years olds are not gonna be on my shoulders.

This makes taking my two year old to run errands (hardware store, grocery store, etc.) so much more pleasant. No more chasing after my kids, they are happy to be on my shoulders (...okay, my husbands shoulders)

The design is great in theory, but we had a hard time adjusting the backpack straps to fit. It seemed to do better on my husband (5’10”) but not for me (5’5”). The seat itself is also a little harder than we imagined, and not sure if our daughter would be comfortable on it for long walks. I guess it may be better than sitting on shoulder bones?After we thought we had it set up okay, we started looking at the seat clips and noticed both sides were broken right out of the bag. They are a different type of plastic clip than the standard used on the backpack, not sure why. We are of course returning as defective and due to the difficulty with the fit and the reviews about it being an issue will not buy again. I’m glad it works for some, just wanted to share it did not work for us.

I purchased this product for a recent trip to Disney World. I purchased to use with my three year old. After reading other reviews and reading the products website I thought it would be a good fit for us. After using it one day in downtown Disney we packed it back up in the suit case and rented a stroller for the rest of the trip. I did like the hands free factor that the leg straps provided, but after just a couple of hours my small three year old was killing my shoulders and back. Maybe this could be used for a much smaller/younger child or maybe for a man its would not have been so bad. I also seemed to have a hard time getting it to fit and getting it adjusted to feel good on my body. This just was not the right for for me or my kid. I did like that it had a back pack. So I could pack some wipes and water and small snacks.

What an amazing product. Takes a lot of the pressure off your shoulders and back to carry. We used this for our 4.5 year old at a concert and it worked out great. Even our 1.5 year old can fit on top and ride comfortably!

Ich bin jetzt seit drei Jahren Vater. In diesen drei Jahren habe ich (wie die meisten Eltern bei ihrem ersten Kind) viele, viele, viele, viele Dinge für meine Tochter gekauft von denen ich glaubte sie unbedingt haben zu müssen, von denen mir diverse Quellen auch mitteilten ich brauche sie damit mein Kind optimal versorgt sei.Der überwiegende Teil dieser Dinge rangiert auf der Nützlichkeitsskala im unteren Bereich.Nachdem mein Nachwuchs das Laufen erlernte, versuchte er es auch relativ schnell wieder einzustellen. Auf Papas Schultern ist es ja sehr viel angenehmer. Es musste eine Lösung her, da Kind, Laufrad und Einkäufe auch für den stärksten Mann auf Dauer eine schwere Last sind.Ich habe mir den Saddle Baby Pack bestellt und war von Anfang an begeistert.Die Verarbeitung ist top. Das Konzept wohldurchdacht und toll umgesetzt. Er lässt sich schnell und gut einstellen (was wichtig ist, muss man ihn doch bei jedem Auf- und Absetzen verstellen) und auch bei einer Körpergröße von 1,90 m und einem Gewicht von 120 kg sitzt er super. Der Rucksack ist groß genug um Tagesverpflegung für drei mitzunehmen und das Kind sitzt gerne drauf (es ließ sich darauf die Schneekoppe hochtragen).Eine bessere Anschaffung habe ich mir nie geleistet. Freu mich schon drauf, ihn für das zweite Kind weiter benutzen zu können.Ich habe noch nie etwas so guten Gewissens empfehlen können.

Rassurant pour le porteur, confortable pour l'enfant.Le petit sac à dos est un plus pour transporter quelques broutilles.Je ne regrette vraiment pas cet achat.
