It removes rust, but is it really worth the money?
The sprayer for the rust remover is cheap, and has already broken after about 30 sprays. The protectant is just a dry film spray, nothing special.The rust remover works, but no better than others I have tried for less money. That said, these products aren't as caustic ad others and don't put off strong fumes (there are fumes, just mild).I won't buy it again, but I wouldn't call it a total waste.

Proven 10 Year Results on my Outboard Engine
The T9 is amazing! I used this product about once a year under the cowling of my 70hp Yamaha outboard, starting from the time I bought it brand new.. After 10 years of heavy saltwater use, I just sold the engine and it looked amazing! I purchased another boat and I’m making sure I use T9 again! It is expensive, but it’s WELL worth the protection it provides. One can is enough for about two liberal applications. I have not used the rust remover yet, but figured if it was anywhere as good as it’s sister product I had to have it!

Best stuff I’ve ever used!
I wish I took before pictures! Because it shocked me the results I had! I use the rust remover on my jointer and with some elbow grease it looks brand new. Sealed it up with the T9 and it’s smooth/slick and hasn’t rusted up at all since!

Great Product for Tool Care & Rust Prevention
