Barker Manufacturing Company 11916 20 Gal. Water Tank Kit , White

I ordered 2 of these for my food truck. The addition of the kit that gives you just about every option needed to use one of these tanks, is great. The quality of the plugs and nipples is really good. I think this tank should last me a long time.I like how they are completely plastic, because I will be using these as water storage in a food business. They are NSF qualified. Just do not use these for any pressurized system.Overall a good option for a plain water holding tank.Thanks for reading my review.

Amazing product, the install kit was a bonus for any “do it yourselfer” very pleased. High qualty.

Overall as a product, It came to my house in good time. The tank holds water without leaking. The water lines that come with it are fine as well. They hooked right up and did not leak. I had to get different ones due to how I was hooking it up.

I purchased this to be used for a shower at my off the grid cabin in the desert. I can't complain that it holds water and doesn't leak as others have noted [you actually have to Teflon tape the threads].The diagram of the tank is a little misleading as it says .5" outlets when the threads are actually 3/8", the hose is 1/2.The kit comes with both 3/8 and 1/2 threaded barbed nipples, pinch clamps, and a 1 1/2 hose. I used none of these things.The tank itself has on one side [1] 1 1/2" permanent nipple for attaching to the water fill hose, and [2] 3/8" threaded female inlets. One for water service and the other for a vent.The other side has [1] 3/8" threaded female in case you want 2 water service lines.All theee 3/8" ftp inlets come with threaded plugs. Remember to wrap them with Teflon tape before filling with water.

Very easy to install and use. I will be using a flo-jet water pump for my water pressure you can see in the picture.I used a different supply hose because the one provided was to short for my application.We are using it as a water tank in our truck camper.

I’m on my third one. There’s a hole cut out where this is located so I can’t buy another model.First two ended up with broken pipes, even though there is a safety mechanism to prevent that. The little copper Tubes are fragile!!!!Just received my third one and it’s already throwing error signs after only using it a few times.The first two gave me hot water until the pipes froze. The third one …. Just disappointed.

I used this in a small roof top tent trailer I built. Works well and all the hoses and fittings were useful.
