Good rings
I really like the plastic inserts. These are the second set I have purchased. Not sure why I don't have more of them. I believebthey are a little low for what they say. I ended up having to get high but that will vary per mount. I wish actual ring height measurements on the rings was easer to find.

Far beyond my expectations!
WOW! Finally, rings that actually work. Mounted these babies on my Hatsan AT44S-10 in .177. I have a long and short barrel and I switch between the two whenever I get the whim. With these rings going to different barrel lengths isn't a problem. I can pretty much center my scope (6-24x50mm AO) without using the adjustments on my scope. Easily and quickly. I tried another brand of adjustable rings and they went back the next day. I've been shooting for many years. Used countless different scope rings from 20 bucks to almost 200 bucks on my more pricey rifles and scopes. Have had rings laped and have done a few myself, what a pain in the a$$! After fitting my PCP with these I'm thinking of changing out all of my rings. SERIOUSLY! I bought the insert kit just in case but didn't need it. My friends have been using these for years and swear by them. I thought they didn't look any better than others. Boy was I wrong ...The fit is very tight. These suckers are solid beyond belief. I bought the 1" high matte models. I had to remove the fiber optic rear sight but since I've never used the fixed sights it's not that big of a deal. For my 60mm and above objective scopes I'll have to buy a rail riser. They're cheap and easy to find. These rings do require a little more work to fit them properly but the end result is well worth the extra effort. If you're looking at less expensive adjustable rings or any kind of ring for that matter, stop looking and try these. If you don't like them send them back.I'll bet you won't!Small note: IMHO the torx wrench that comes with the rings isn't of the best quality. I recommend getting or using a torx that you know is of good quality. (Torx #15). Since most of us DIY'ers have our own sets of tools this isn't a deal breaker by any means.

Outstanding performance on my .30-06
I did a lot of research before buying new rings to put on a Browning .30-06 rifle. The old rings did not hold up over years of use, and eventually flexed on every shot. That's unacceptable for a hunting rifle. I read the reviews for the Burris Signature Zee Rings on this website. As others have said, the video on the Burris website explaining how these rings can fix the problems that rifles, scopes, and rings have is excellent. Go to their website and watch it. I ordered the inserts with these rings. I went to the range, set my scope to mechanical zero and followed the directions. I quickly saw the problem that had plagued my shooting. I am not a gunsmith, and these rings allowed me to adjust my scope to perfectly align with my barrel. (I did use levels) It was very easy to switch out the inserts in the rings and rotate them. I believe the inserts in these rings hold the scope much tighter than any other rings I looked at, and protect the scope very well from the recoil of a high-powered rifle. Within a few minutes I had a tight grouping very close to center without even adjusting the windage or elevation on the scope yet. One or two 1/4" MOA clicks over and up, and I had zeroed my rifle. These few adjustments allow me to have the full field of view of the scope instead of making lots of adjustments on windage and elevation. If you need more than just a few "clicks" to zero your rifle, you should definitely consider buying these rings. Because of the design of my BAR and the mounts available for it, I was limited in options. Instead of paying a gunsmith to find a solution, I was able to figure out the problem and fix it myself. The whole process took me less than an hour, and I did not come close to using a whole box of ammo. I did, however, end up shooting many more rounds later on to make sure my long range shots held dead on. Now, I confidently pull the trigger and know I am always taking an ethical shot.

Ultimate Scope Rings!
These rings are awesome. I bought a Savage 16 XP Trophy Hunter in .308 caliber and Nikon Scope a couple of months ago. The gun shot great, but the scope rings just would not stay tight. I tried Weaver rings, and they would not stay tight either. After research and asking at the gun range, I went with these since they are solid steal, the bases that match are solid steal, and the screws are solid steal. The ring inserts are great and hold the scope tight, and you can make sure the rings are tight without fear of damaging the scope due to the inserts. I loc tighted the screws and bases, and went and shot 100 rounds through the gun today. I put marks on each screw and the scope body and rings to make sure nothing moved at all when I went to the range. Everything went great, and I'm happy I finally have a set of rings that work well and I don't have to worry about. Thanks Burris and thanks Amazon! I'm glad to finally be able to use my gun without wondering if the rings are holding up. A good gun is useless without scope rings that do their job!

Burris 420520 Signature Zee Rings
I have used a couple sets of 1 inch Signature Zee rings on rimfire benchrest rifles, and a set of 30mm Signature Zee rings on a PCP air rifle. I use the offset ring inserts where it's necessary to get the scopes sighted in with a usable range of adjustment, but I really just like that the polymer inserts don't mark up the scopes. The "Dark Lord of Optics" on YouTube likes them, which says a lot to me, because he can pretty much get whatever he wants.I was a little bit afraid that I wasn't going to get the right thing, because I couldn't find the Burris item number on the page. Burris also offers Zee rings without the inserts, but what I received were the 420520 1" medium Signature Zee rings that I was looking for.
