Awesome clock beautifly made
Love this clock.I had been looking for a radio controlled clock that would go well with my darkish dining room furniture and this clock fit the bill! The wood is beautiful and nicely finished. You cannot see any finger joints in the wood ... it just look like one continuous price of wood. The clock is not heavy. The numbers on the clock are not real bold but they are clear and can easily be seen from across the room and from most angles. This is not a silent sweep clock but I have to stand right up to it to hear the tick. The clock sits about 1.5 inches away from the wall (a non-issue for where I mounted it). The battery case also has small plastic feet (included in the 1.5") which causes hanging the clock a bit out of the ordinary. You cannot use a medium-sized picture hook because the hook won't reach to the hanging hole. Also the hanging hole isn't very big (sorry, I forgot to measure it) so whatever you use to mount the clock must have a long enough reach plus have a small head to enter hanging hole. The back of the clock is white so that may be a consideration if you plan to hang it on a very dark wall. The radio controlled part of this clock works well without any hassle and it corrected for the recent time change. Hey, the clock even keeps time!! which is pretty cool since it is mounted in a block/stucco house in Florida.Made in China.

Three Stars
Attractive clock, however the wood is more of a cherry than the dark wood in the image.

Stay away, do not work as promised
It looks nice, it made out of wood that's the end of pros.cons.-dial plate is made of paper.-hanger hoop is too small for any regular screw head size, so you need to install it on the pin and not screw.-Radio control do not work properly. Watch has 4 buttons on the back. I live in Eastern time so I pushed ET and every time I press it, watch were set -1 hour, like I live in Central time. I had to set it manually.-Batteries died in 2 weeks.Save yourself some troubles and get Seiko wall clock like I did Link: [...]

Unable to Receive Radio Signal
Followed instructions several times but was unable to receive radio signal on the east coast (Long Island). Had to set clock manually. Not a silent clock. Looks great, though.

Good looking clock.
Very good looking clock. The wood used is extremely light in weight (color is medium-dark cherry), so it doesn't have the substantial heft I expect from a wood clock. On the other hand, it only needs a small nail to hang it securely. It keeps great time, even though it is in a commercial (brick and steel) building without any windows nearby.

Truly Lovely Clock!
The picture doesn't do this clock justice. The wood frame is such a rich shade of... well, it's not quite mahogany and it's not quite espresso and it's not quite cherry stained wood. It's a blend of all three - dark brown with reddish undertones. The inner nickel frame really sets the face off. But the best part is the nifty atomic time feature. Although it took a little bit of fuss - because we live in PST and have to contend with daylight savings time and, strangely, the clock doesn't quite account for this necessity - we set it to Mountain time in the Spring and the clock automatically adjusts itself to the minute. It takes a couple of minutes to set itself but the time is absolutely accurate. In Fall, we reset it back to Pacific time. We've had many people visit our home and everyone has always commented on the clock and how lovely it is. We think so, too. Definitely a fantastic buy for the price!

not silent
It's not silent, I can only conclude that anyone that says its silent has a vested interest in marketing the clock. The manual does not match the clock.
