Nice look, easy assembly, a bit smaller than other medium-size crates
This looks really well and matches a lot of the furniture in our room - it's a very common color on the market which is nice. It's more brown-red than the picture, which looks more like a true mahogany red tone. But it's really nice. The crate is definitely smaller than the standard medium size crate. I use this for a 32lb pug/beagle mix and he can stand up but brushes his head against the ceiling. So you may want to go a size up - I think we might exchange it. He still goes in voluntarily and spends his mornings in there watching us, waiting for breakfast, even with the door open so he seems OK with it. But if you have an old crate of the standard size, the bed liner for the bottom won't fit so plan to buy a new one for this. Oh and also the doors are smaller than the sides - so your dog will have to step up and duck their head to go into the opening. Just something to be aware of if you have a really excitable dog that likes to leap into the crate like one of mine does, or an older one that may has hip or knee issues. The opening is still totally sufficient to get in or out, but they do have to duck a bit like when using a dog door. The whole thing kinda snaps together and the front piece has 3 magnets that hold it in place. Great for quickly taking it down but the point was to have it be more like furniture, so I expected (an would have preferred) some screws or something to hold it more in place. It's totally solid in terms of you can set things on it, you can slide it around on the floor, etc, I just wish it were a bit more sturdy and locked into place than it does. However, for the cost, still a very great purchase. And finally the best part about it is the 2 doors - front and side. This allows you to put the crate/table in either configuration in your home and is perfect for us. This is my favorite feature of this crate.Overall I would buy this again or recommend it to a friend.

Medium is B I G
I can honestly say that I was completely and utterly shocked when I received this cage. I love it! But there is a flaw in the making. The cage is adorable to say the least and it’s WAY bigger than I expected. I have an Apple head chihuahua who loves bigger cages so seeing the medium, I bought that size. When it came in, it honestly looked like it ways an extra large (pet store size) but the box said medium. When I assemble it and put it up against the large cage I already had for my pup it towered over it in both width an height. It looks like a teen husky could fit in it almost perfectly. Shocking to say the least. The color was perfect, the size was perfect but the only thing that wasn’t perfect was the fact that it’s very VERY wobbly. Like, extremely. Thankfully my boy doesn’t try to get out know that the cage has walking space but I think this may be a problem for some people. It’s an easy assembly because it doesn’t have any screws or hooks but it’s a very unstable assembly because of that. Nevertheless, it is very large and hassle free. I do recommend gorilla gluing the pieces together if you know you aren’t going to move the cage around for a couple of years or need to take it ahead.

Furniture look with cage feel
I Bought the Med cage for my 29 pound Boston Terrier. This size is perfect for him, he has tons of room and it is an increase in size to the crate I purchased for him as a puppy. The cage was easy to put together and its basically a standard metal cage that most of you have right now with wood inserts that surround it and cover it . I purchased this cage because we wanted something that looked nice in our house while not totally surrounding our dog with wood. Other wood cages i searched for seamed too furniture like and they in-cased the dog with walls of wood. Our dog likes to poke his nose and paws through the cage. This cage met both those criteria as it looks like furniture, but still has the cage feel for the dog.. I also like the fact that the dog is in no contact with the wood while in the cage, so therefore he cannot chew it while in the cage.. People in other reviews stated that their dogs bent the metal bars and injured themselves and while yes i have to agree that the metal cage part is not as strong as the one in our old cage, If you have a well trained dog who was trained that the cage is his home and sleeping area this should not be an issue. If you have a dog that you let chew and destroy things then yes this could be an issue as i can see the metal cage part being destroyed. I also like that this cage has a door on the side and the front, giving you an option to place the cage in different areas. The one negative to the cage is that the door placement is a little high and my dog has to step over the cage to get in. The first time in he tripped and it spooked him a bit, but he has since gotten used to it.Overall i am happy and I highly recommend this cage if you are looking for a visual improvement over the standard mental cage. Pic- Med cage 29 pound dog 1st time in cage so he was a little spooked, but it has grown on him.

Turns a crate into a bit of furniture.
This does its job well, disguising a dog's crate as a bit of furniture, it doesn't look odd in my lounge, and I can use the top for useful storage of doggie things, but the sides are not covered (which is good), so my beagle can see out, and have plenty of air.My disappointment is the method of assembly. The whole thing is held together by the weight of the top. The bits are not attached to the crate at all, and assembling it is a balancing act akin to a game of jenga - get the sides in place and hope they don't topple while you position the top. You cannot move the crate without risking the thing falling apart. The bar covering the slot for the tray has magnets to hold it in place, but any movement in the crate knocks it out of position. Having tripped up it countless times, I don't bother with it any more. This could have been an excellent bit of kit, but having to rebuild it every time I want to move my dog's crate for cleaning is a chore. All it needed was a way to fix the uprights firmly to the base - and perhaps the base to the crate itself, then it would be a lot easier to live with.

Pretty crate
Pretty little cage for dog, would choose the larger size where possible. It's basically a wooden frame that sits over/around a standard dog crate. It is just a standard dog crate, but it's made incredible more presentable by the rich mahogany wood effect.Would recommend, go large.1 star off for magnetic panel at bottom that keeps falling off, especially when dog's legs touch it when he's stretching.

Easy to assemble
Arrived day early, well packed. Easy to assemble , but very unstable until my husband used cable ties on the legs to secure to cage, and used the same to attach bottom of cage to wooden frame, if you don’t secure it, it is hard to move without the wooden frame falling apart.Does look good, a cage that has multi use.

Really good product. Would have had 5 stars but it's ...
Really good product. Would have had 5 stars but it's a bit wobbly when put together, we screwed the sides to the top making it it much more secure, enough for the cat to sleep on the top.
