Things on my wishlist: 1. Start a new, awesome job 2. Create the perfect dating app 3. Stop dating douchebags Things that actually happen: 1. Got a job in my dream tech company 2. Created a workplace dating app for said company 3. Was matched with Bennett, who happens to own the company and is also my brother’s best friend They say when it rains, it pours, but this is some serious BS. It doesn’t help that Bennett was the man I had my last one night stand with. It definitely doesn’t help that he seems to want me just as much as I want him. The issue is, he won’t do anything about it, but then we’re forced to attend a tech conference in Vegas and I think it may just be what I need to turn this thing around. New goal: get my brother’s best friend out of my system by all means necessary. Review: 4.5 Stars - Trouble Never Looked so Good! - I really enjoyed this brother’s best friend romance. There were some light funny moments and also some heavy moments dealing with cheating and betrayal from both of their pasts. The office dating app concept added a fun modern aspect to the book and had me intrigued at the fun anonymity of the idea. Morgan and Bennett randomly meet at a bar, hit it off with some smoking hot chemistry and wind up having a hot one night stand that neither forgot. Little do they know that they weren’t really strangers-they had a mutual connection- Morgan’s brother. So when fate brings them back together Morgan is extremely reluctant to let anything happen again with who she now knows is her brother’s best friend. The two have hot chemistry but some issues from their past make for a rocky journey to love. Overall I liked the book, it was an enjoyable read. Review: When a one-night-stand turns out to be your brother’s best friend. - This is a stand-alone romance, with lies, secrets, a one-night-stand who turns out to be my boss, oh and he’s my brother’s best friend! This was my first Claire Contreras novel, but references to other characters’ stories makes me want to go and search out their books too. Bennett and Morgan are great together. Bennett is a self-made man who values his family and his friendships. He has gone through a rough divorce and has been turned off from love. He has an immediate and strong connection to Morgan, but fights against it. “You say I’m trouble with a capital T, but you don’t even know the half of it.” Morgan is young and smart, but has seen more struggle and heartbreak than most. I liked Morgan, but didn’t feel a strong connection to the character. Her backstory is tragic, her relationship with her brother is adorable, and her love story has all the ups and downs and swoon-worthy moments of every great romance novel. But, Morgan was just one of those characters I struggled to connect with. I thought Claire Contreras did a great job of addressing addiction and the effects it has on a whole family. I loved seeing Bennett’s support for Morgan and how Morgan and her brother tried to take care of each other. I would definitely recommend this book and I will be reading more of Claire Contreras’s stories.

Brothers Best Friend Love FTW!
-5 BROTHERS BEST FRIEND LOVING ⭐️s- This is the first of Claire Contreras that I have read and I am kicking myself. I will definitely be reading more of her work!! I absolutely loved the banter between Bennett and Morgan! It was definitely a huge part of this story and really showed how much the two were meant for each other. I really enjoyed the storyline about Bennett and Morgan! Since they were already acquainted through her brother they already had a little bit of a background. But less did they realize how they really knew each other, a one night stand a year ago. She had been let down and she saw him in a bar and knew there was a spark. Morgan didn’t know that he would still be on her mind a year later and would be helping her with her career. When she had an interview with Bennett’s dad at their company SEVEN she didn’t know what that would bring. Bennett couldn’t stop thinking about her and the sexual chemistry that they shared that night and he knew that he had to keep it professional. But he knew that there was something more than just a friendship he wanted to have with her. These two had the steamiest sexual chemistry that two characters could have! I couldn’t get enough of these two! Thank you so much to Claire for the free review copy in exchange for my honest review!

Good book...until the end
I really loved 90% of this book. The characters are compelling and (mostly) realistic. Some of the workplace dialogue and plot points fell a little flat, but were still valuable for progressing the story. That ending though. Completely eyeroll worthy, wrapping everything up in a completely unrealistically tidy bow. It did a real disservice to Morgan in particular, to sweep everything with her mother under the rug. That said, it’s still better than most of the book out there on Kindle Unlimited, and worth a read. It’s just not close to Claire Contreras’ best work.

It Led Me to You
Love the concept of a touch bad ass woman with a soft heart and a man who isn’t afraid to show and admit to his emotions. I absolutely fell in love with Morgan and Bennet. I wish the conflict was a bit more, but this was really good all the same. I couldn’t put this book down. I had to read from start to finish uninterruptedly. Great job. I wish the cover models were credited if they were real people. The cover definitely grabbed my attention first.

Loved
I loved the brother sister relationship between Morgan and Devon. Bennett was the brother's best friend from college. Morgan was significantly younger during Devon and Bennett's college days. Devon unknowingly hooks up a year before at a bar when neither one of them are at their best. Fast forward a year and suprise, Bennett is the owner of the tech company where Morgan is starting her 1st job out of college. I loved the conflicting emotions. Morgan is fearful of losing her new job and making her brother angry if they book up again. I loved how the story turned out.

The conflicts of being matched...
This was a pretty good book. We had a smart woman who knew her career and what she wanted. If we ended it there, we wouldn’t have this love story. Morgan was hurt badly by people she loved. So bad that she didn’t know how to move on when love presented itself again. Bennett was also hurt. Manipulated by his former wife and played ignorant instead of properly dealing with it. Enter the app that would be Cupid. Then a relationship and a past that would catch up with both of them. The build up was good and the sex steamy. If you enjoy Claire’s work, this will definitely satisfy you. The way she writes about falling in love is so good. Why not 5 stars? I think because I personally didn’t like how some things were dealt with and dragged on. It’s still a very good read.

Review for The Trouble with Love by Claire Contreras
You know how you read a story and somehow it stays with you? That’s how I feel about every Claire Contreras book I’ve ever read! The way Mrs. Contreras writes is truly incredible! About such diverse characters that leave an imprint in your heart! Her books always out do the one before it. From the very beginning you will fall in love with Morgan and Bennett and their stories and what brought them together. Sometimes everything we do leads us to where we are suppose to be. Morgan is such a strong heroine, she truly shines bright even with the past that she went through. Bennett’s past is different than Morgan’s but the things he went through make him the man he is today. Together these two are perfect. They help each other through some really tough times and show that family doesn’t always mean blood. If you’ve read The Consequence of Falling then you’ve met Morgan! Get ready for your next read with this brothers best friend love story that your heart won’t be able to help but love this truly real journey of troubled love.

Good read!
I really liked this romance novel. It describes an ideal office romance, if it is only possible and not frowned upon. It touches on friendship and family dynamics and how to rectify past hurts and mistakes. I recommend it.
