MonroeGas-Magnum 34515 Suspension Shock Absorber for Dodge Ram 1500

Nothing special, looks hand painted in someone's garage. The rubber grommets are minimal. Definitely get rubber spacers to full the gap. I didn't think about it until after install, so Im flying with it. The metal with minimal rubber the bolts go through is accurate size, so I suppose its personal preference to fill in the small gaps on both sides

I have used Monroe for 30 years. These replaced the factory original shocks in my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. These were direct fit and made in the USA.

I've got a 2007 1500 Ram quad cab 4X4 and was looking for a good Monroe shock that has good dampening/rebound properties. Seems that all sellers and even the Monroe catalog doesn't show a quad cab 1500 ram 4X4 so it makes choosing the correct shock a gamble. Stay away from rock auto because their catalog is the worst and you will get charged for their mistake. But anyhow, I bought 2 Monroe 34515 shocks for the rear of my Ram and they fit perfectly. Will be getting the fronts soon. I used to use Monroe SensaTrac shocks because I've had luck on them eliminating the "death wobble" or "shake" but Monroe no longer makes them. Hopefully the Gas Magnums are just as good and I will leave a 5 star rating for now.

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 QC just making 75,000 miles.These shocks were a perfect fit and the ride is incredible!!!!! The rebound from a bump or pothole on the shock is smooth and instant!!!For all you Ram owners, you will have enough room to get to the top mount bolts and you don't have to lower your spare tire. Also you do not need to lift or support the truck on stands when doing this. There is no load weight on the shocks that's taken care of on the leaf springs. Just get under and start turning wrenches!!...good tip that really helped was, while waiting for the order to arrive, everyday I went under the truck and sprayed PB blaster on the mounting bolts that saved me big time. The bolts are $10 a piece so try and do it that way. Anyway you will really like the shocks Monroe is the way to go top notch!!!!!

I installed a set on my 2004 Dodge Ram 4 door 4x4. Excellent shocks. I have used Monroe for 40 years on different rigs I have had, always excellent results. My Dodge had 142,000 so obviously the factory shocks were worn out, although the process happens in such a time span you really never know how bad they are. The new shocks all the way around made the Ram feel like new again. The ride is firm, but not bad and the steering and tracking actually changed, for the better. The truck has had a slight pull to the right for some time now, alignment checks ok. The shock replacement (different part number) on the front corrected that problem, how?? I have no idea.I would highly recommend these shocks to anyone wanting a more controlled ride and the price is unbeatable. AND AMERICAN MADE, all win, win.And in yellow!!!!! Anything in yellow looks great!!!

These shocks are as advertised. The install was easy, the fit was exact and the improvement in handling was immediate.

Great for! Easy to replace yourself. Makes my 2005 dodge ram handle the road and bumps like a new truck.
