Bought for a gift
The book is darling.I love the illustrations and the poems are short, cute, and easy enough for an older toddler to memorize!I bought it to give as a gift at a baby shower.I'll actually have an opportunity to meet Jane Yolen in a few weeks so I'm hoping she'll sign it!

I got the book for my brand new Great Grandbaby. Her mother is going to read it to her starting early.

I was disappointed in this book
I was disappointed in this book. I've admired Jane Yolen's work for many years, but this lacked the imagination and language I expect from her. The drawings were not my style, either. For many of your children's books it is possible to 'take a peek inside' and I knew I was taking a risk with this one as this was not an option. Perhaps you could add this feature?
