Yoga Towel by Raja, Helps Advance Your Practice with Improved Grip for Bikram, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Hot Yoga, Made from Premium Microfiber (24" x 72")

I've just recently gotten into hot yoga and have been trying out different yoga towels. The price was right with this one, especially with the little spray bottle (which I mainly use as a vessel to hold a small amount of water to sprinkle directly onto the towel instead of spraying). The material felt fairly nice; however, I did feel like it bunched up and moved around more on my mat than my other towels. Unfortunately, the stitching at one corner of the towel already came undone and separated from the towel after just 1 wash. I will obviously continue to use the mat and try to stitch it up, but this makes me reluctant to invest in anymore towels from Raja. :/

I used the RAJA Best Performing Yoga Mat Towel in a hot yoga class and was beyond impressed. In a hot yoga class I sweat a lot and have been using a regular bath towel on top of my yoga mat to keep my hands from sliding but it always ends up bunching up, which is distracting. The Grip Activating Sprayer was included but was empty or wouldn't spray at all. I ended up spraying this mat with water and the grip was amazing, no "special" activating spray is necessary. I was able to hold poses while sweating away without the worry of sliding or having to fix the mat between poses. I LOVE this towel, especially the fact that I can throw it in the washing machine after each use. I received this towel at a discounted cost in exchange my honest review. Well done RAJA!

For Gentle Yoga or Yin this towel will perform well. If you do Power, Vinyasa or Hot Pilates, unless you wet the areas around the feet and hands, holding a Downward Dog or Crescent Pose will be difficult without slipping. Raja does send a grip activating sprayer 20ml to fill with water. You will need more water than that. Also the towel will have a problem staying flat, more so than a Yogitoes Mat.

The company includes some sort of spray for the mat, but the spray bottle doesn't have anything it and the sprayer isn't functional (no hole was cut for the liquid to move through). I haven't used the towel yet, so hopefully the towel is of better quality than the sprayer...

This towel is PERFECT for my buckram yoga class. Normally I'm sweating my tits off, dripping everywhere, and always worrying about slipping. Someone recommended that I get this towel and I haven't looked back. It works great, can sit on top of the mat (stays in place well) and has lots of grip. As I am no longer worried about slipping when in particularly precarious poses, I have begun to focus on what really counts, hitting those positions and have seen an immediate improvement in my yoga performance. The grip spray activator is a cool feature, works really well, though not essential as the towel itself is plenty grippy. Finally, the quality of the material is immediately obvious. This is not something that I will have to buy again in a year. I would recommend this product to ANYONE who wants to improve their yoga experience.

this holds a lot of water instead of wicking water away. at the end of a 90min hot yoga class, I'm left with the epitome of a wet blanket that puddles when I step on it.

I get a lot of use out of this and I really enjoy it. I had been using my yoga mat with a basic shower towel at my home and none when out at studios so having a towel that is specifically crafted for this has made using my yoga mat more enjoyable a lot. The towel grips really well, thats pretty much the most important thing about me when it came to use. It doesn't budge or slide around on the mat as I move. The spray helps even more and I recommend using it with the spray a few times and a few times without to understand how the spray changes the grip!

It was great for the first week or so. I hand washed it, and it began slipping. After another week, I hand washed it again and became unusable.
