Victorinox1361371 Army Knife Camper

I own several Climbers. I actually use the corkscrew and the scissors and the toothpick. In my opinion this model has the best price to tool ratio of the Swiss Army line. I like the Explorer too, but I like the lighter weight and narrower width of the Climber. Also the Explorer costs $20 more for the addition of only two more tools. A nice knife for purse, day bag, or glove compartment.

It came right on time. I even had time to hide it. I know he will enjoy it.

Had a red one before which got lost somewhere and I got it again in black since its cheaper.I got these for the most part because of the scissors which are comfortable for nail clipping.I dont really use any other parts the large blade sometimes to open amazon boxes (make sure to clean itwith alcohol or acetone from adhesive after cutting box tape) I used the opener to open beer bottles couple of times too. all these parts are sold, my last knife lasted 8 years before I lost it with no decline in performance hope this one lasts too.

After I lost my old one, I replaced it with this one. This one seems as good as my old one, so I'm happy.

My father had an old swiss that I used to think was the coolest thing in the world. Never had much use for it, but always carried it around, especially if we went on hikes.More than a decade later, I've now got my own, and I can't wait to pass one down to my kids as well. Less tools then the other models, but I use most of the kit on the climber and it's all I need.Solid little workhorse, and handsome to boot.

I was replacing my beloved 15+ year old one that I misplaced. It seems they are using a different material for the red part now and I am still trying to like even holding it, much less using it. It's slick. Too slick. I don't like it at all, but not being able to go into a store and hold one due to Covid, I'm not going to order a replacement or a different style because I can't trust they would be anything other than slick. I almost didn't write this because times have changed and everyone is struggling and compromising in some way. But I can't get the disappointment to go away, and I am absolutely certain this was not my introduction to my other one, so I decided to write and let others know their experience may be the same. It's of course a unique "companion", and when you're used to one and loved it, you miss it and can't be satisfied with a new one that's changed, even slightly. In addition, I don't want someone saying I'm wrong -- that it's the same formula they've used for decades. My experience is what it is: the new one is different and I don't like it but I'll keep it because there's nothing else like it.

This replaces an. Identical knife I lost.It is of the highest quality ,and reliability. victorinox uses the finest steel in all of their knives.My last one lasted over twenty years and was like new, except for minor scratches on the red outside plastic handles from being scratched by the keys in my pocket.I-recommend this knife, or any of their knives without reservation.I have no financial reasons for this glowing report.
