What a load of cheap Chinese rubbish buyers beware it also is so loud I’ve measrued it 109 dbl you think a steam train was coming throu the kitchen

Product worked for 2 x boil. When we attempted to boil water the next day the start button flashed red (at 0.5l full). Tried everything (including holding variety of buttons down in different orders and switching off at mains for a few mins) to no avail. Filled kettle with more water (checking if it was the “safety” sensor - kettle stopped flashing for 15 seconds and allowed us to select a temperature and start boil. Within 10 seconds of pressing start and selecting the temp, the start button begun flashing again. Good concept - poorly executed!! Do not buy!!! Spend more money for something this “advanced” or spend the same money on a more basic version you can trust!! Refund requested and more expensive version purchased!

This product is claimed to be made of high quality 304 stainless steel, but the interior is seriously deteriorating after little over 10 weeks use. The bottom of the interior became discoloured after 4 or 5 weeks and is corroding. The surface has now turned from a rough, dark grey mottled appearance to black in places. These black areas constantly shedding small black flakes which have to be washed out before using the kettle. This internal material is quite clearly not stainless steel and is some sort of cheap alloy. I shall not be buying this sort of rubbish again. Since I bought it for £29.99 at the end of August last I note that the price has reduced by £5.00. I am not surprised. I wouldn't use this kettle if you gave it to me.

First impressions is that it looks and feels very cheap. Not worth £40+. Also not entirely similar to the one in picture.- The cover at the top is flimsy and sometimes doesn't open properly- The whole kettle just wobbles when it boils, feels unstable- Even when boiling under max quantity, it does look like it about to burtst out, I'd recommend not going above 1.5L- The buttons, while for now work fine, feel very cheap.- The water level compartment, just looks horrible and cheap. The way it works, it's slow to catch up when you're filling, so you gotta wait for it to catch up to actually know how much water is inOtherwise, it works! The temperature preset seem to work fine, not sure if it's particularly fast/slow to boil. It's not very loud, as some people said it was, the noise level is fine.Overall, feels cheap, I can't imagine it will last a long time. It is what I would expect of a £20 kettle, not £40+. Would be a pain to clean, the way it's designed. Worst even, the water level compartment just cannot be cleaned/removed. I'll try it for a bit longer than a day, but I'll most likely return this.

I love the fact that this kettle is much quieter than my last one and that it has great features, i.e differing temperatures can be selected, plus a keep warm feature. My only negative comment is that when the kettle switches off, the light against the temperature goes out but there is nothing audible to let you know it has boiled. This would be a useful feature (which I have have had on all previous kettles) if you are engrossed in another task at the time.

Worked for 12 hours until I selected 80C for my morning cup of green tea. After that it would not boil, cutting off at 90C, despite setting it to 100C. Everytime we used the stupid thing we had to set the temperature to 100C from the 90C it switched off at.No prizes for guessing it's on it's way back.Does look good though and has a nice long lead. Pity it doesn't work.

This is by far the best kettle I've ever owned - and I've owned plenty over the years! I've been using it since June 2019 and it's been fantastic. It cuts off quickly, the temperature section function is great and I've had no problems with it whatsoever. The only thing I would improve is the water gauge, it's a bit hard to read because it's slightly opaque, especially when you fill it to the minimum level, which is 0.5 litre. It's not a deal breaker, and after a while you can judge how much water to put in just by feel. Another plus point is the weight, it's a bit lighter than my old kettle which was mainly made of glass. Highly recommended for the price, I hope it lasts.

the main problem with it is that it gets limed up very quickly and it id difficult to remove even with a good quality descaling liquid. the water comes out cloudy and with a film on it..
