I gave this as a gift to one of my friends kids.He loves it.

This is my honest review of this car. The thing comes as a DIY kit sorta like what model car kits come in with the plastic frame and you need to clip out the parts. But when I was assembling it the instruction booklet literally does not really give clear enough photos for you to follow. Also since this thing also comes with several different types of screws and the instructions don't really give you clear enough details to help identify what screws are what. Also some of the assembly steps are a bit tricky to do. one last thing is that the pins that lock in the chassis angle fit super tightly to the point where it seems like it's not that easy to change the angel. Also when the wheels get put onto the axle rods they are also a bit to tight. So when pulling off the wheels so that you can put the axle into another hole can be tricky. Keep in mind that i'm a grown adult almost 25. Also it took me over an hour to assemble this thing. Overall this "car" feels a bit to cheap and is not that easy to assemble. So a 7 year old would not be able to assemble this car with ease. It's not like trying to put together a 100 piece Lego set.

Son loved putting it together!

This was a gift for our 8 year old grandson to put together along with his dad. His dad, by the way, loves to build models. It was so difficult that our grandson lost interest and our son eventually put it aside as well. I'm disappointed. It was recommended for 6+; that is way too young.
