This book has a lot of challenging words and activities to complete. At the same time it is also fun to do. At the back there is a dictionary which explains every word in the book.

Quite interesting, my daughter likes it

A really good resource, especially if your child struggles with learning word lists etc or isn't overly enthused about practising. This won't help you learn how to answer 11+ questions but will help to increase your child's vocabulary and comprehension in a fun way (which I've found has led to a far higher retention rate).

Fabulous book which my daughter (age 10) found very engaging. She loved all of the worksheets. The book really helped my daughter so much and made learning vocabulary so much more fun!

Great book. The vocabulary is at just the right level. The games and puzzles are really fun - especially for learning synonyms and antonyms. A very useful 11+ book that isn’t a chore.

Perfect for 11+ verbal reasoning and Oracy tasks for school

I bought this for my son who is preparing for the 11+ exam, and it has been a game-changer. Instead of endless flashcards and word lists, this book turns vocabulary learning into something he actually enjoys. The puzzles, rhymes, tongue twisters, and quizzes are so creative that he doesn’t even notice how much he’s learning. We’ve tried a lot of resources, but this one really stands out because of the variety. Some days we work through word games together, other days he’ll happily pick up an activity on his own. The cartoons and humour sprinkled throughout keep it light, which has made studying far less stressful in our house. Not only is this perfect for 11+ prep, but I can see how it will benefit him beyond exams. His vocabulary has grown, his confidence has improved, and he’s having fun while learning — what more could a parent ask for?
