I liked that this cake plate and lid/carrier has a concave non-stick metal base/plate, which is great for cakes with icing (ganache). The overall height is a little smaller compared to some cake carriers, but perfect for most standard Bundt cakes. I really like the product, but ultimately sent it back as one of the latches was damaged upon delivery.

You know you're getting up there in age when your favorite new toy is a damn cake cloche. It's really pretty awesome. I love that you can just take a cake you made with you somewhere and cut and serve from the bottom it comes with. I also like that the handle doubles as coverable air holes so you can opt for keeping the airholes open or shut depending on what you made. Travels well. There's no divots or anything to hold a cake in place on the bottom of it so it may not be total perfection for a rocky trip with an iced cake but for pound cakes that can take a little more handling, it's a rockstar. I'm not sure if it's just a great recipe but I have a poundcake in mine right now that's currently 5 days old and still moist, and not in the gross gooey way from the glaze or something. The cake itself is holding up great. Just make sure you properly latch all four hinges before you go swinging this thing around.

Works well . But was afraid of breaking tabs when cleaning. Had to handwash vs dish washer as tabs felt a bit fragile.

I would be lost without these cake carriers.First I use the tray to place my cakes to frost and decorate then when ready I can stack them with the covers on. I can place 3 of these carriers in a bag and I’m ready to go.I just wash the top part by hand because I find that the clips can break off other than that love them.

This cake keeper is BEAUTIFULLY made. It's attractive, very easy to clean, and sturdily made, with superb clips to hold the top to the base. Ideal for two-layer cakes, it's just the right size. Roomy. I HIGHLY recommend this!

This is a great product, however, it was delivered with a crack and a break...I like the product..but just need to replace it.

While it technically will accomplish the task (of storing a cake), it's not particularly good at it. Here's why:1. The plastic top clips to the metal bottom using 4 plastic clips. It is too easy to have those clips not entirely locked in place so they release the bottom plate. If you try to pick up the cake using the handle on the top and the clips aren't tightly in place, you're going to have a disaster as the bottom falls out while you're carrying the container. Make sure you hold the container from the bottom in order to avoid this.2. The container is not even slightly air tight. This is OK if you are transporting or storing an uncut completely frosted cake, but if you are storing an unfrosted or cut cake, you really want to keep it in an air-tight container so the cake doesn't dry out or go stale.3. The bottom plate is coated iron and will quickly rust if there is even a slight cut in the coated surface. Why they didn't use aluminum or other non-reactive metal, I don't know. Don't even put this in the dishwasher. Wash it by hand and dry it off completely. Rust isn't tasty. The coating isn't very non-stick, either.4. The bottom plate is also not perfectly flat. It curves up slightly on the ends and this makes it harder to serve the cake or lift it off the plate to put in onto a serving platter, even if you have a cardboard cake round under the cake.5. The cover is not very tall, so make sure your cake will actually fit under the top before you purchase this. I don't think you'd be able to put a more than two-layer tall cake under the top.5. This is more minor, but the plastic top is not clear, so it is hard to see or show off your cake. Not sure why they'd use undyed plastic and then not make the top clear.I'd go look for other options, this is not a great tool for the purpose.

This is a great cake plate! I love that the bottom is metal & I can place it on warm surfaces w/o worrying about it melting. The four locking guards are sturdy & holds the plate tightly in place!

The top isn't as tall as I thought it would be, but it worked for housing a lemon meringue pie.The bottom is a non-stick pan like thing, which makes it easy to clean. The top has little vent holes so it's not totally air tight.Very nice overall.

Product came in time, looks good and works well as intended.

Love the idea of a non-stick reusable cake carrier. This is exactly what I need to share the result of my recently developed baking hobby with family and friends. Easy to use and clean.
