DID NOT WORK FOR MY DOG
I read the great reviews on this and thought I would give it a try. However the instructions say you need 2 Tablespoons to the 16 oz of pet drinking water. This means if you have to change your pets water every day, you will go through a lot of this stuff. However, I tried it and my dog got nauseated by it. Ingredients are: Purified Water, Peppermint flavor, Glycerin, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Baking Soda, Aloe Vera Extract, and Stevia. Now I can't imagine giving my dog two Tablespoons of this stuff with all these chemicals in it every single day. This seems like it is a mouth wash. But Sodium Benzoate is a perservative that is not good for people or animals. I am not one of these people who burn a torch at anything with chemicals in it by any means. I simply began researching ingredients to try and find out what might be the problem. I did a little research here which might be helpful:Read below from a website called naturallysavvy:"In a laboratory study, scientists evaluated the genotoxic impact of sodium benzoate in cultured human cells. They found that the chemical significantly increased damage to DNA (which triggers cell mutation and cancer) when it was added to the cells in various concentrations.Other exposures to sodium benzoateManufacturers add sodium benzoate to health and beauty products such as mouthwash, shampoo, body lotions, and deodorant to prevent bacteria from contaminating these items. Over-the-counter and prescription drugs such as pills, cough syrups, and topical medications also can contain sodium benzoate.....If you want to avoid sodium benzoate, read labels carefully. Look for the words “benzoic acid,” “benzene,” “sodium benzoate,” or “benzoate,” especially if you also see “citric acid,” “ascorbic acid,” or “vitamin C.” Sodium benzoate is also known as E211. "I don't know what was making my dog sick on this. I really wanted it to work and gladly it has worked for so many people's pets. I have already used a arm and hammer baking soda toothpaste I purchased on Amazon and I use a little baking soda in my dogs water. Bottom line is that his teeth and breath need hands on maintenance and I don't think this pet water additive would be helpful at the recommended dosage on the label without some unhappy side effects.

Plesantlly surprised....
I am an avid Amazon shopper and do my homework before making final order. So I read a LOT of reviews and being more positive then negative decided to give it a go. There were reviews that stated some pets were made sick or threw up, well my first thought is animals like people can have reactions and side effects from certain ingredients but seemed the majority were good results. I have 2 dogs a Jack Russell, Skip 12, his breath ok but can always be better but the devil breath dog in question was my little Fiest, Precious, Lord her breath could stop a freight train, she is the more country outside dog, 11 yrs old and can get into stuff. So I thought I have nothing to lose ordering from Amazon and a Prime member, free shipping and returns and if works GREAT... I started with 1 tab. per 2 1/2 cups of water, they didn't drink as much at first but didn't refuse to drink so within the first day were drinking it normally, so 2 days did same amount then increased to 2 tab per 2 1/2 cups or little more of water, well they are now drinking just as much and in 4 days could tell a hugh difference really did not expect it to really help much but anything would be an improvement...I could not hardly hold her in my lap much less let her near me with her face or tongue and after 4th day for first time since I cant remember she is in my lap and sleeping next to me and can get in my face and I don't faint....truly amazing...so I am thrilled!!!! but again, with millions of pets and millions of product sold there are going to be negative results and side effects for some, that's just normal...if you have an extremely picky pet eater or drinker this may not work but sure worth a try....since Im getting results with the two tablespoons may not try larger amount unless breath gets bad again, so that I can make last longer. My jack Russell is 20 lbs and fiest maybe 10lbs. so small dogs. they are mostly inside dogs but I live in country on 80 acres so they can get into some bad stuff... Thankssssss..... Emmy's Best for your product...and Amazon is just the BEST!!!!

Dogs drink it.
It is easy to use and my dogs drink it, so it is a win-win. Mostly I believe it does help their breath.

Worked wonders with my puppies doo doo breath!
Actually works!!!After going to the puppy Dr and seeing it was going to be $300+ to attempt to fix my puppies breath I had to find and alternative.Puppy mint treats and tarter fighting bones did absolutly nothing but empty my wallet. So I decided to Google how to fix puppy's breath Naturally with home remedies, somehow this stuff popped up.Typed it into amazon and here I am writing this review!I have a 14lb Yorkie so this bottle is plenty big enough for many uses.Directions on the bottle to know how much to add to water ( I didn't follow it, I put a big bowl out for him and just pored a little bit of this into the water) His breath smelt like doodies and after the very first drink its was a huge difference and after a day or two his breath was perfectly fine. I don't use it in every water fill up either anymore (about every two days, and only use it maybe every 2-3 weeks now) so needles to say I've had this for a few months now and still have about 3/4 bottle left.Has a mint smell to it, smells good I almost took a sip.Says it fights tarter and plaque which is awesome. Also, my dog is extremely picky and usually throws up when introduced to new things so this was a "risky buy" for me but for $15 I had to try it.Can say he loves it as I never seen him do a back flip as I poor some into his dish, but doesn't seem to mind it as he drinks often. So over all A success story for me!Quality product, Actually worked for my puppyand its only $15So I will be saving this sellers page and buying more when needed.

A really good buy.
This is a really good product to help a pet whose breath smell even though her teeth are nice and clean We have two Rough Collies one is 12 years old .Another point is that she did not drink enough water ,but, since we have been adding this to the water she has started to drink a lot more also her breath is a lot fresher. We have Said that she is additive to the water.

Not for cats
Useless. Cats won't go near the water add there is a really strong menthol smell. Don't waste your money. Might work for dogs but it's not for cats.
