Capital Mysteries #14: Turkey Trouble on the National Mall

I received this book to read before a trip to Washington. I thought it added a good amount of details about the area without overwhelming a child. We are reading more Capital Mysteries before we go. I'd say this is for under 10 years old. My middle school child is too old and not interested. For the younger children it's good to see them try to solve the story before the end which shows they're engaged in the story.

My son loves this series

All of the series by Ronald Roy are great books to read to my four year old who loves them: Capital Mysteries, Calendar Mysteries, and the original A to Z Mysteries.

My daughter loves this series! We live in the DC area, so she can identify with the setting of the books. Even though she has sort of outgrown this level of book, she still wants to read each new one that comes out.
