Insanely great replacement…I would know!
I literally NEVER write a review on a product, but had to on this one. FAR exceeded my expectations. I’m a bit of a pen freak and love smooth writing, comfortable feel, quality pens, and vibrant blue ink. The original Parker refills work great, don’t get me wrong, but the ink color is so dark on the new ones it’s almost black. For comparison, I love the Parker gel refills color as well as the Pentel Energel ones for their vibrancy and smooth writing (checks all my boxes). I was looking for a comparable rollerball refill for my Parker pen. This is it!! Unfortunately the medium point refills were out of stock (I’ll be ordering them immediately when their back), and I don’t typically use fine point but was willing to give it a try. It did not disappoint. These pictures show the fine point Unibene (0.5) compared to a Parker gel refill (0.7). The color is vibrant and smooth (bright royal blue if the pictures don’t show it well). In the picture, I’m writing on a thick ivory colored paper (but works great on bright white as well). Buy them if you’re like me. You’ll be glad you did! The ink dries quickly too which is an added bonus!

Much better than original Parker refills.
Much better than original Parker refills. Ink flow was amazing. Ink drying time was instant.

Better than Parker RB refills
Very comparable to Parker-brand Fine point rollerball refills, and fit perfectly in my Parker IM rollerball pens. Based on an initial tryout, I think these Unibene refills produce a smoother and more saturated line than rollerball refills from Parker. Since I prefer extremely fine points, I was actually hoping that the Unibene refills with their prominent GEL marking would write more like a Uni-ball or Pentel gel refill with the same point size. However, Unibene must use a very wet gel ink (like the ink in Parker Jotter gel refills), because just like Parker gel refills, these 0.5 mm point Fine point Unibene rollerball refills produce virtually the same width line as a 0.7 mm Medium point Uni-Ball Signo or Pentel EnerGel refill. But if you like a wider line, then I think these Unibene refills are better than Parker refills, and certainly more economical.

The worst refills imaginable.
These refills are scratchy, require a lot of pressure to write, and had less consistent flow than the dying Quink refills I bought them to replace. I tested all six and none worked well. I can't speak of the longevity because I had to throw the entire pack in the garbage. They make the infamous $0.30 Bic Cristal pens feel like a luxury item in comparison. Worse than nothing. Absolutely do not buy.

Great alternative!
These fit perfectly and are much more economical that the parker original. They write perfectly and love the gel ink.

If you rely on refills to write smoothly and not skip, this isn’t the refill for you.
Writes like crap on some papers. I’ve used refills that were ballpoint refills that were drying out that wrote much better. These are supposed to be gel rollerball refills. Normally I like Unibene refills, but this product is the poorest refill I’ve ever used hands down. Disappointing experience to say the least. The refill skips severely and you have to go over the words 3 times or more just to get them to write. I tried it with another refill out of the same package and got the same result. However the refills do work good on word search type paper and on coin flips to write the year of the coin on them. Just don’t trust it to write on all paper.

Worth the price
★★★☆☆ (3 out of 5 stars) I purchased the Unibene Parker Compatible Rollerball Refill (6 Pack) mainly because the price is fair for the quantity you receive. From a value standpoint, it meets expectations. However, ease of writing is not its strongest point. The ink flow is inconsistent at times, and the writing experience is not as smooth as I would expect from a rollerball refill. If you are looking for a consistently smooth, effortless line, this may be disappointing. For casual or occasional use, it is acceptable given the cost. That said, if writing comfort and smooth trace are important to you, I would recommend purchasing the original Parker refill or trying a different brand instead.
