Thriving!
This own root rugosa rose arrived in good condition. We have experienced drought in my area and the ground is like concrete. Therefore, I planted this young rose in a large planter where it is being nourished by my special recipe of planting medium. The rose is leafing out beautifully and thriving. My hope is for enough rainfall to soften the ground so I can transfer this rose into it's permanent home in the ground next to my memory garden.Heirloom Roses definitely know their stuff. I will be a repeat customer.

Beach roses for the beach
Bought two of these Therese Bugnet roses for my beach house garden. Kept them on my deck at my house until I had the chance to bring them down to the shore. They really grew and one even bloomed while they were still in the pots. They are planted now and I look forward enjoying more blossoms. Since they are beach roses I’m sure they’ll do well. Plan to purchase more next year.

Very weak plant for the money
I was quite disappointed when I saw the plant. I have some roses in my garden but I've never had one like this before. It's not appropriate for such a renowned rose grower. It's not worth the money.

It’s alive!!!
After reading other reviews I wasn’t sure what I would be getting but I did get a live rose bush packaged well. I got it in the ground within a week and it is growing slowly. It seems to be a 1 year old rose so will be a while before I see any flowers.

Just gorgeous and beautiful
I wish they sold more of these! This is my second year with this plant. They are stunning and hardy. I have this rose bush on the side of my house with the most harsh wind and sun. It has grown so much bigger and stronger this second year! It has also provided a spot for a garden friend! This seller is so reputable, I always recommended them to friends and family who are looking into buying roses. I’m just so happy!

Beautiful and winter hardy
I am in gardening zone 4b and with no protection at all it survived a tough Minnesota winter. This spring a deer decided to eat the plant down to just a few inches and not only did it survive, but it already has lovely, lightly scented roses on it!

Fragrant and winter hardy in Mpls/St. Paul area of Minnesota
We have had this rose come back year after year despite Minnesota winters. The first pic is early May this year. Therese Bugnet is just to the left of the umbrella. I think this is its first bloom. By the way, please excuse the numbering of the pics. They are not in the order submitted...The third pic shows how it went really nuts. I think that is due to abundant rainfall (and maybe the fertilizer applied). I actually had to cut it back at the base. It does take space so give it room.By the way, that gargoyle in the fourth pic used to have water and fog flowing from its mouth, but now, chic-a-dees nest in it every year. Not a verified purchaser here on Amazon, but the review is legitimate.
