Good machine
Powerful enough for any DIY

Overall good product
Product is hardy and durable..Build quality is good..The depth gauge and angle gauge are not accurate..You might need to recalibur before using the angle and depth gauge..As the product is hardy it's a weighty product..You need to keep your hands very very steady for a nice clean cut..The 24T blade that comes with the package is also good..But if you need an extra smooth finish I will recommend to buy a 40T or higher teeth blade..

Best for DIY
Bought this after comparing with Bosch, Dewalt because the price was cheaper and had all the features. The quality is impressive and the accuracy too. I used it on finger joint board (hard wood) and the results were fantastic, could cut long straight cuts with ease. Overall a great buy if you are on a budget.

Heavy duty machine

Powerful and Sturdy
I a newbie in power saw and a DIY person. Bought this in an attempt to renovate a wooden dog kennel . My observations are as follows - Had to but it at MRP of 6990. I guess lack of availability made Amazon sell at MRP. + Very powerful. I could cut hard wood easily. In this price range, this seems to be the most powerful + No scratches or dents on the product. + Bit heavy, but feel sturdy - No measurement marking for hight adjustment. - Marking in parallel guide and angle are in black. So not visible. Might have to put some white paint as suggested for other buyers + Arbor size is 20mm and the 40T blade provide is also 20mm bore. Yet to find whether 25.4mm bore blade will fit or not, using the same connector nut. + Two pin plug. But you would need to take power from 15A socket. It drags good amount of electricity at start I like Bosch GKS 140 ( 1400w ) in this price range. But not much review. So dropped it from the list. Black & Decker ( 1500w ) was also looking attractive ( Rs 5900 ), but finally went to Stanley due to higher power of 1600w

Good tool!
For first time user this is an excellent product. Cuts through plywood easily and nicely. Not tried it on hardwood yet. The angle of the blade with the base is not perfect square. Has to be adjusted externally. After more use - I found that the blade is not square with the base and its not possible to do so without modifying the base. I have attached it to a home made table and using it as table saw - I was able to achieve near squaring using three washers. And the blade is not 36T but 24T. The saw is shaky - at the places where it is attached to the base and hence will not provide accurate 90 degree cuts.
