Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the Funk/Soul band. Mass Production was a ten-piece from Norfolk Virginia who came to the attention of music business entrepreneur Ed. A. Ellerbe. The band ended up making a total of eight albums with a few minor personnel changes from their debut WELCOME TO OUR WORLD in 1976. The first album features the single "Welcome to Our World", and the cover is a definite homage to the Isley Brothers 3+3 sleeve with the band kitted out in leather and in similar poses for which they thanked the Isleys in the liner notes. The second album BELIEVE from which the band made a significant dent on the U.K club scene in the late 70s and early 80s with their 12" instrumental Jazz Funk anthem "Cosmic Lust", actually a club classic to this day.

Long time comin
Two great 70's funk albums by one of the most unrated funk/disco groups of all time. Slammin percussion, horns, and hard rock guitar. Also some lovely slow jams. Not many of their albums have been released on cd so get it before it's out of print.

Two straight-up back-to-back bonafided classics (on one CD, I love eack cut on both albums)!!!That's it, that's all I can say.

Attivi dalla metà dei 70s ai primi 80s. Insieme ai Brass Construction hanno iniettato nuove sonorità nello stile funk/soul. Molto bello Welcome to Our World, primo album uscito nel 1976. Masterizzazione discutibile rispetto alla dinamica del suono da LP: troppo compresso!
