Irish Tweed Flat Cap, Traditional Donegal Wool, Silk Interior, Made in Ireland

This cap is a perfect example of what an Irish cap should look like and also feel like when worn. The construction is outstanding and the Irish tweed it is made from is top notch. The green color is actually deeper and darker than what appears on the screen. For me this was a big plus as that is really the color I was looking for. You can get a cheap Chinese knock off at Target or Walmart for $10-12 but while resembling this cap once you see the real deal you’ll know how shabby the Chinese junk cap is. This cap is far superior to two other Irish caps I ordered on the internet, one on amazon. Those caps were flimsier and not as well made. Make sure you get yours before St. Paddy’s Day!Some additional information: I have ordered two other made in Ireland caps on amazon. Both needed to be returned. One was too large, the wrong size was sent but it also wasn’t close to this caps level of quality while the price was the same. The other a Hanna cap was just awful. The cap was as flat as a pancake and couldn’t be fluffed back up as other caps are when purchased. The hat was asymmetrical with crooked seams and was of flimsy construction. This cap outshines the others. Please note: this is the “Irish style” flat cap. It it wider than other styles.

love this cap, aside from being high quality wool, it looks to be constructed with no strings or loose stitching and lined with a fine beautiful fabric inside with the same quality construction.

It fits perfectly, very comfortable and superb quality. A little darker than the pictures shown in the ad, but no complaints.

Nice hat. I have a huge head so I ordered XL and its plenty big, kind of loose on my head. The way too large tag on the inside kind of makes your head itch.

Well light my clay pipe and call me O'Rafferty.... No seriously folks this is a great hat. I've worn this style hat for years and this is the best made I've encountered so far. I normally wear 7.5 to 7.75 and this baby fits perfectly (XL). It doesn't itch like other wool caps. It has a silky lining that makes you forget it's there. If you're the rapper gangster type that's looking for a snazzy hat to go with your puffy leather jacket and gold chain, this hat is not for you. This hat makes me look like I should be out herding sheep and drinking Guinness.The only con I can think of is that it's not really the color that's in the picture. It's a darker green and you can't really make out the orange lines as well as you can in the picture. Other than that it's a magnificent hat. (I took all my others hats and put them away, won't be needing them anymore)

Love this hat. Perfect for those cool overcast days or a bit of drizzle. It does run a little large. I measured my head at 23.5 inches and the large cuts off at 23 inches, but it’s still a bit loose. Nothing a bit of light rain and drying won’t fix but I’m glad I followed the other reviewers advice and went down to the large. Great quality hat.

He really loved it and it was very high quality! The inside was very nice too and comfy.

I'm sure the quality is fine but the green depicted is deceptive. I returned it for another which to no surprise the colors are digitally enhanced.
