Egun: The Ifa Concept of Ancestor Reverence (Metaphysical Foundations of Ifa)

I never review books. I am a literature teacher- I read a lot and end up having a lot to say about the books I come across. This book really explored some great points that I have always thought about but never treated as legitimate ideas worthy of research. I come from western education and culture but also have extensive family background on ifa religion. This book has been an eye opener as to how to balance the two. I do, however, wish more on ancestral worship was discussed in terms of the how (the practice) but maybe that's in another book. Thank you for sharing your enlightened ideas. Many blessings to you! I love the clarity and comparative studies discussed in all of Awo Fa'lokun's books. Awo's books weave a metaphysical tapestry intertwined with brilliant comparisons between the western world view as opposed to African spiritual world view. Each of his books is more and more comprehensive on the same subject and in different arenas.
