This comb is of good quality, soft, and has good elasticity in the air cushion. The part that combs the scalp is thin and comfortable, providing a massaging effect.

My absolute favorite paddle brush, well made and definitely gentle on my hair and scalp.

I love this brush. I have thin, fine, shoulder length hair but this brush works on any hair no matter the length, thickness etc. It is very well made with a heavy and sturdy handle/base and stiff but gentle bristles. The bristles are very long and reach right down to your scalp and massage it. It distributes oils throughout your hair to keep them from accumulating at your scalp and prevents frizz. It gets through tangles effortlessly and gets rid of bed head. It feels AMAZING to just brush your hair and it goes through my hair so smoothly, even when it is so messy. There is no pulling or tugging. This is the only brush I now use and like I said it works on all hair, it is the brush to have. This brush works with any hair, curly, thick, long, short doesn't matter. The bristle spikes are long and get right down to your scalp effectively brushing the hair instead of just going over the top of it. This brush can put up with heat so it can be used when you are blow drying, curling or straightening your hair and is unaffected by any chemicals you put in your hair. I travel with this brush and it still holds up great. This brush does not need to be babied or treated gently. It is a great, universal brush. I have used SO MANY brushes in my life time and I can rightfully say this is the best. I even prefer this to my Mason Pearson. The way I clean it is remove ALL the hair first and mix liquid antibacterial soap, baking soda, and vinegar in a bowl of hot water (about 1 to 1.5" of water) and let the brush soak bristles down for about 20-30 minutes. Remove and rinse thoroughly and I scrub mine with the "Denman Hair Brush Cleaner" (available cheaply here on amazon) to get all the gunk off the base. Then when it is all rinsed off I squeeze the water out and let it dry upside down on a towel overnight and clean off the cleaning tool. I would buy more if they offered more in line. Amazing brush

Bristles are stiffer than I prefer which is why I can only give 4 stars. While on the smaller side, size is fine. Maybe it’s the style of brush but I feel it pulls more than my other brushes with similar bristles. I wouldn’t buy again but also don’t regret the purchase.

Best hairbrush I’ve ever owned. I’ve had a few through the years, and they hold up to a lot of abuse and really last. They’re super easy to clean out too, and they massage your scalp really well while brushing, which is so great for your hair growth. I have really long hair and I keep one in the shower, and another in the bedroom. They’re great for detangling your hair while you’re in the bath or shower (while using hair conditioner). The best tip that I’ve learned is to put your favorite conditioner onto your hair, applying it from the mid-hair shaft, working it all the way down to the ends, and then use the Aveda paddle hairbrush to detangle your hair. Leave the conditioner in for a few minutes and then rinse while partially putting your head under the water, and brushing very gently (to prevent breakage). Because of its size, it’s not really meant to go into your pocket, purse or bag. It’s really more of a full-sized hairbrush to be used at home (but I always take it traveling with me).

Best brush ever made. It work well even with dirty hair.
