Color is different than the picture shows
The color is not translucent the way they kind of look in the photo. They are solid colors but that doesn’t really matter because they do what they are intended to do. My sons OT recommended these to help with cheek and lip stretches along with it being more paddle shaped / flat it is exactly what my son needed to help him eat properly.

FEEDING THERAPY MUST!!!
I have two daughters (aged 3 and 5) with Autism and speech disorders, with the eldest being the most severe. She is also nonverbal with a host of other difficulties including feeding issues. With the use of this spoon, we have added TWO new foods (applesauce and chocolate pudding), which is amazing because she only eats certain parts of ten food items. She craves the textured bottom and likes to use it on her own, though she also likes to be fed at times. I gave one to the mom of a boy who used to be in her class and although he is not as severe as her and does not have feeding issues, his mom said that he has become a bit more interested in eating. I also purchased a set of duo spoons from Beyond Play and she likes those even more! It is a lot cheaper to buy them from there as opposed to Amazon. They are silicone with two different textured ends, one bumpy and one lined.

Great Textured spoon. Perfect for toddlers learning.
bought these on a reccomendation from our occupational therapist. We have purchased these several times now and are great quality. Down side, They are not dishwasher safe.

Helping baby with sensory problems
I like these spoons, they are great for my special needs infant. It has texture but its not overwhelming so she is accepting of it. I kind of wish they were silicone or something softer but they are fine.
