A very good, high quality product!
Mounted these on my S&W R8 Tactical revolver. Fit like a dream, needed some minor fitting to smooth out the edges-- about 30 minutes of work with a Dremel and sandpaper did it. Feels like full custom grips and hugely improved my ability to manage the revolver. No extra sanding or finishing work was required, used 120 grit Dremel flapwheel and 400 grit sandpaper to smooth out all rough edges. No splinters!

Arrived cracked
I like Hogue products however these grips came cracked along the back. I found out because when I took them out of the package and was inspecting them the wood was splintered and stuck into my hand. Upon closer examination the wood seems to be cracked on each side of the back strap. The wood here seemed unusually thin. I have used these grips before years ago and never had that problem. The crack seems to be along the grain. I am sadly having to exchange these for a different set of Hogue grips which I hope work better since the new ones are a two piece design.The grips are beautifully done otherwise. Just a shame I cannot use them. They would be great on my S&W. Amazon’s shipping was fast so a nonissue there and at least Amazon has an option to exchange. Hopefully the new grips will be better.

Perfect Smith & Wesson grip.
These grips, designed by JM himself, make every K, L and N frame S&W revolver feel exactly the same in your hand…. I have…several now, I can attest that they do exactly that. I plan to put these on all my revolvers.
