Nice but limited chalk retention
Good storage box to hold your favorite piece of chalk and keep you cue case clean. I like how it is unbranded. I wanted to use it with a magnetic holder but the chalk won’t stay stuck to the base without some modification. Wedge paper or hot glue the chalk in maybe? There is another product that has retention screws. I like that one better.Update: I started using some higher end chalk that has a small metal plate in it. Works well with this chalk holder as there is a magnet that helps with retention. I didn’t see initially but the holder came with a metal plate that you can add to your lower end chalk.

No room for magnetic adhesive
Purchased this to protect my KAMUI Pool cue Billiard Chalk 1.21 and while it fits OK with out the included magnetic adhesive otherwise you can't close the holder. The magnetic on the holder won't engage. This thing is about 1/16" to small. The only way to get it closed is to grind the Kamui chalk down which sucks when you spend $28 for the chalk.

Made for portability and travel
I bought this to keep our black chalk from painting our fingers. It does an adequate job of that, but I think it is better suited for someone that wants to travel with their own chalk and not necessarily for on-homd use. Honestly, would have liked something a little larger for the home. However, that is not the products fault. It is great and works well. Magnet is strong enough to stay on even in your pocket.

Great chalk holder
Works well to protect your chalk, magnet isn't bad but not that strong. Will hold my kamui chalk and it isn't a bad price for it. Have seen similar products for twice the price and this is just as goodNot a chalker it's made to keep your chalk covered and protect it. Works well. It doesn't pop open in your pocket. Also have others for my magic chalk. Don't set it on the table or it will get stolen.

Cool gadget
