Lots of fun
Nice spheres of ice. Not just to place in your glass and drinks, but when the neighbors bring their dog over these little round cubes can keep them occupied. It turns out to be that a round ice cube is also a disposable dog toy.

Fiddly, but works
Used this to make edible eyeballs for Halloween. The funnel doesn't really work, opening too small. It's best to just fill bottom tray and then let the excess fill when you put the top on. Squeezes out the side a bit but for the price it's not too bad. Also easy to pop them out of this mold when set.

Pass
Wouldn't buy again. Didn't like how they came out

Cuisine Essentials Store. Great. Easy to use, read the instructions for filling!
The holes in the top half of the mold are for air to exit not filling with water.Pictured is the filled mold ready for freezer and the size of the ball.Put the empty clean base on the provided lifting board. Using the board will keep you from loosing water when transporting to a flat spot in the freezer later. You begin by filling the base with hot water (ice will be more clear) almost full. Then the top half of the mold is applied and slowly pushed down around the sides. Do not push down on the ball molded area as this pushes water out of top half. Key to success is understanding the holes are there to allow air to escape not water to be added. Once the edges of the top are fully engaged with the bottom then place board and all into the freezer. Be sure to carry it level to keep the water level in the mold. This makes perfect sized ice balls for my Glencairn bourbon glass, 1.5" top opening diameter.

Meh?
My priority was ice size of 1.8" or less slightly less for my water thermos. This tray's size was correct but getting anything close to a round ice ball was impossible without extra steps. The top and bottom don't seal together so an ice sheet will form holding all the ice together. For my needs this wasn't an issue. You must use the plasti-board that comes in the package to carry the tray to the freezer or you will spill water everywhere- tray is very flimsy.

Material Made Ice Taste Terrible
This made the ice taste absolutely foul. I pre washed it with soap and rinsed thoroughly. The cubes were perfect, but they tasted so bad I had to immediately clean my water bottle. I then cleaned the tray and lid again and tried again. This time I decided to try a cube first before using all of them, same exact taste. I've never encountered this with other sphere ice molds or silicon ice trays.

Use the plank they send....
it adds the stability to fill as well transport to the freezer!! I found if ya fill the bottom tray up about 3/4 full press the top on slowly you get nice round ice balls. No need for the cute little funnel!! Found another use for that. LoL

Not the results I expected ...
I followed the directions and I am not getting the sphere ice I desired. Maybe the vendor can add a video so the results will turn out better.
