My elderly purebred labrador suffers from GOLPP (geriatric onset laryngeal paralysis and polyneuropathy). It's a degenerative nerve disease that causes her larynx to relax and stay partially closed causing a restricted airway, hind end weakness, and also causes the swallowing muscles in the esophagus to have difficulty getting dry food to go all the way down causing her to yack and sometimes vomit. So we had to mix some dry food with canned food in order to make it go down more effectively. I searched many brands for one with sufficient calories to substitute for most of the dry food, and this was it. She loves it, has no problem getting it down, and she yacks much less frequently. It smells terrible, but she gets so excited when it's time to eat! Combating this disease can be hard, but this really helped to nearly eliminate her reflux.

I've been feeding my Pomchis this food since they were able to eat on their own. I am retired, on a fixed income, though, and I have 15 of them. That might sound like too many to some folks, but we do just fine, they are my reason to keep breathing. Really, it was an accident that I came to have so many, but I love them as much as they love me.Lately, though, the prices have been increasing with each delivery. and I'm spending an average of $60 a week feeding my babies.I will ensure they continue to eat well, but unfortunately, I am going to have to cut out this canned food, or find a less expensive brand. I certainly am not a cheapskate when it comes to my companions, but with a fixed income, I am now forced to rehome some of them because I can't afford the food anymore. My soul is crying, and I will find homes as good as this one, but the economy these days does not allow for us old folks to keep the good company of good dogs if we want to trat them well.

I have 4 dogs and all I have ever fed them is Pedigree dog food, canned and dry. Every time I take them to their yearly check ups the vet always says their coats look amazing and their weight is perfect. I will never feed them anything else. I have my dog food automatically delivered to me every other week thru Amazon and it is always on time and in perfect condition.

Good brand, my dogs like it. The fact that it is chopped I guess means it's not like high quality steak and itdoesn't come with vegetables, BUT, it's packed in tight, so you get a lot more for your money instead of the kind with space robbing veggies, sauce and square pieces of meat. It also means that I need to use less of the kibble by the same maker that I supplement the canned food with.

The Vet says she thinks my Corgi was poisoned. She had liver damage and bad blood readings. She could not eat. The Vet said make her homemade chicken and rice, dogs love that. Not my dog. I tried several wet foods as she would no longer her her Blue Wilderness kibble. I found she would eat Pedigree T-Bone steak flavored wet food mixed with her kibble. She loves it and is much better.

My little dog only eats Pettigree and she likes the chicken flavor. I like these larger cans and I can only find them on Amazon it is a good price.

My dog loooooves this food and can’t get enough of it. Compared to other brands, this is on the more affordable side. I would say to buy the bigger sized cans as you get the most bang for your buck.

Bought this for a local animal rescue that needed food. It was so convenient to buy and have it shipped to them.
