It doesn't get any better than this!
I conducted research for probably two months before I decided on what security cameras I wanted at my home. When I decided upon this camera, I later found it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The video quality is true 1080 P and has been a pleasure to use. I have had my first camera for about three months now and feel I have had it an adequate amount of time to review. First of all the manual that comes with the camera is probably the most comprehensive manual I am ever gotten with an electronic device. If you have a question, it can be found in the manual. I would rate myself as average when it comes to dealing with routers and the Internet. It took me longer than it should have to install, not because of any fault of the camera, but because of my Internet service provider. The manual advises you not to install this camera if you have a static IP assigned to your home router. I had a static IP assigned in my router and my Internet service provider told me I had DHCP set up on my router. When the Internet service provider finally admitted that I did have a static IP and change it to a DHCP, set up was a snap. But, what I found to be the most significant event of the installation of this fine camera was dealing with the technical support from Sharx Security. I sent emails both during business hours and after business hours, and they were all answered within one half hour. And, telephone calls are returned promptly, even on a Sunday. I am beyond amazed at the quality, timeliness, and helpful ability of their customer service. So, in closing, I am 100% completely satisfied and happy with the security camera purchase I made. This camera is a new version of I think the model 3903. This model is smaller and even has a direct connection to a power supply or to a power over ethernet supply. There is no necessity to have a dedicated computer or server to handle the images recorded on motion alert or the videos recorded on motion alert. The internal SD card, which I changed to a 32 GB, Will hold about a weeks worth of motion alerts and then start deleting the earliest ones on the card. I purchased the MobiLinCam app from the app store for I believe $10. This app gives me great connectivity to the camera in real time either through my home network at home or through an Internet connection when traveling remote. I love being able to sit in a hotel room and watch my property and listen to the sounds of all the birds and animals through the microphone in the camera that feeds through my app. I know I took up a lot of space, but when I find something that is really good, I like to share it with others so they don't have to go through the trials and errors that I did! And, I am getting ready to purchase two more of these cameras to install on the exterior of my home.

Great Camera Quality! Great Tech Support!
Sharx cameras are the best I've seen. Quality of the image is top-notch. Quality of the build is top-notch. The biggest value, however, is the EXCELLENT Tech Support. They offer step-by-step help over the phone, if you need it, during the first 90 days. Although they got a little testy with me after I altered my setup following a lengthy installation discussion, they eventually came back by email with useful suggestions. And I had already figured out most of my mistakes by then.TIP: Once you have a working configuration, make copies or screen captures of all their software interface pages so you can keep a permanent record. The only area I feel they let me down a little was in not suggesting this when they were on the phone. I read the Manual, later -- and it is mentioned there. But if they are walking you through an installation the night before you are leaving on a lengthy out-of-town trip, you might not have time to read and remember everything. A little suggestion while on the phone (as obvious as it might seem) would have saved days of worry.I cannot really fault them for this because several Techs responded every time I needed help. They have even forwarded to me a replacement LED ring on an older camera that had just passed its Warranty period -- free of charge. Great support, guys!!PLEASE NOTE: No, you cannot Zoom or Pan with these cameras. But most cameras that offer those tricks are either vastly more expensive, or don't work well, or have poor resolution. Another thing I learned from a Pro who installs these systems -- Most people play with the Zoom. Then leave it Zoomed in such a way as to cut off major areas of coverage. Then complain, later, that their Zoomed camera missed all the action. So don't do that if you buy one with that feature!Night Vision on these is mostly not in color. Grass can look like snow. Passing lights (think: cars with headlights) can trigger them. Reflected light spots that traverse across the lens can trigger them. The video quality is great down dark driveways. If on a porch with a motion-activated light, then, yes, you WILL see colors because you are no longer actually using the Night Vision interface on these.TIP: If you have any difficulty during installation or setup, don't hesitate to contact their Tech Support. These guys seem genuinely eager to help you gain the best experience possible. They even called me on a set appointment time -- late at night -- while they were at a trade show!

BEST CAMS AND BEST SUPPORT AVAILABLE!!!
I'm now at eight Sharx cams at my house with six outside and two inside. The quality of the picture and the quality of the equipment itself is top shelf. My decision to purchase the cams was solely based on all of the positive reviews I read on Amazon over the course of a day.I'm not a computer genius but I'm not an electronics idiot either. The bottom line is I had them all installed and operational inside of eight hours with some CAT6 p.o.e. wired and some 110v powered running wireless. The manual is easy to digest even for the faint of heart, just take your time and read through it a time or two.The real quality part is the after the purchase tech support. People that respond to website inquiries in less than than ten minutes AND make phone appointments to assist that work with MY schedule. They are 100% committed to you and your satisfaction. Steer away from the big box packaged cam systems, spend a bit more up front, and have zero frustration.Finally, a company that treats me the same way I treat my customers!!!
