Fingerprint Pad for Roll Fingerprinting

Bought this to use for completing my own fingerprints, as I live outside of the U.S. The ink was very good quality, and most importantly, the prints using this ink were accepted and approved.

Gives good prints Easy clean up. Much better than the two previous cheaper items I purchased. My retired LEO neighbor didn’t like them. I decided on this kit after a local shop was using it for NFA applications

I purchased two of these pads (along with the company's fingerprinting card holders) many years ago to help Boy Scout's earn their Fingerprinting Merit Badge. With just these two pads, we've done thousands of fingerprint cards for Scout's, adult's and parents of children (Eagle projects & Scouting Expo's) and for many other purposes. I'm about to order replacements before an upcoming Merit Badge Midway in October. I've noticed that several people have complained that they dried out quickly. Mine are always stored in zip lock plastic bags when not in use and I ask the Scout's to close the lids after they've rolled their or others prints.

We fingerprint most all of our clients for background checks, this seems to do the job great.

For Form 4 responsible person finger prints, this ink was much better than the inkless fingerprint ink I previously tried. The inkless fingerprint ink was very faint, probably because the ink had dried out before delivery. This pad arrived in a sealed plastic bag, which kept the ink fresh. The prints were dark and crisp. One of the other reviews said that this ink always saturated the print such that no detail was left. The key is to use the right amount of ink. Roll the finger once on the pad and once on the paper.

I've been fingerprinting people for a while now. This pad works fine for me. It's no the best I've ever used when I put the ink on people's hands it usually a little too wet but I just let there hand sit in front of a fan for about 2 seconds and then roll them. The finger prints turn out great everyone. I also recommend that you store the pad upside down with the lid closed all the way, this will ensure the ink stays towards the top of the pad avoiding those unclear images that can occur when not enough ink is used.

I love this ink. Others are just claimed to be best, but nothing like this one. It works perfect. I give two thumbs up and two big toes up. I love it. I will never use other brand from now on. The best. I used more than ten different brands, but those did not work for me.

This is a regular ink pad used ink stamps. Does a terrible job for fingerprints because the ink fills in the crack so when the fingerprint is taken it's a black smug. Find an inkless fingerprint pad and use that not this product.
