Hand made Owl teapot (Japanese Teapot Kyusu) 83969 from Japan

Nice enough teapot, but smaller than I thought it would be. Holds only 200ml, which is about 40-60ml shy of a typical bought-in-Japan kyusu teapot like this. Seems therefore like this was made for export; it is expensive compared to buying in Japan (my old one that is larger and same style was 1100Yen, or about $10USD, vs $39.99 for this one. This pot is a good 8cm smaller in diameter than a typical teapot of this type bought in Japan. That said, its fine, no workmanship issues or any problems with it. It will make 1 cup of tea per pot, but certainly not 2 cups per pot.
