These are so much better than cotton. I have an eversion to cotton when using it to remove nail polish or to apply facial toners and other products. These are so nice, no fluffy residue and effectively helps remove makeup, nail polish, and applying other products. The side is great for the face as it is small enough to get in around the eyes. They are gentle on the skin yet durable enough to not tare during use.

I buy these along with the 100% cotton ones made by the same brand. The cotton ones seem more absorbent and are more abrasive. These silken wipes are smoother in texture. I like using them for applying certain moisturizing toners on my face since they don't soak up all the product. Less waste. Nail polish remover doesn't seem to evaporate quite as quickly with these, too. I originally bought these and the 100% cotton ones to deal with a slow healing wound that always bled after showering. The cotton ones absorbed moisture and blood way better. They helped dry out the wound quicker to stop the bleeding; but if I left them on a little too long, they would adhere to the wound and cause bleeding to reoccur once I peeled them away. The silken wipes served the same purpose. And although they took a bit longer to do the job, I was able to easily take them off after applying pressure. They also worked great for spreading prescription ointments across the wound area. They helped keep everything clean and sanitary without wasting a lot of product.

These wipes are PERFECT for specific uses. Now that I've discovered them, I simply cannot be without them! They are specifically designed for the APPLICATION of product. I use them to apply my water based toners. Because they don't absorb your product, the toner glides on your face smoothly & evenly & you don't end up wasting product. Although they do come in a larger size, I find these work just fine. I can get enough toner on these wipes to use on my face, neck, & chest without having to apply more to the pad. I also like using these in the morning to get any sleep or leftover mascara/eyeliner off my eyes. As the name implies, they are incredibly silky & therefore gentle. Perfect for the delicate eye area. And there will be absolutely no lint bits on your face, yay! I have also used them with micellar water to correct any makeup mistakes or clean up fallout. This package lasts me for months & I use them on a daily basis. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a thin silky wipe/pad as opposed to a thick absorbent wipe/pad. Great product!

This is the first time I have purchased these silken wipes and I was very happy with my purchase. I have a weird phobia with cotton touching my skin so I refuse to use cotton balls, pads, rounds, etc. and have been on the hunt for an alternative for years so that I can remove my makeup and apply certain steps of my skin care routine. (ex: toner, essence) Since finding these, I can’t see myself purchasing anything else. They are so soft and nice on the skin and for my own personal needs, they get the job done perfectly. Obviously they are a little more pricey but I think it’s worth it and will continue to pay the price because I like them that much! If you don’t have an issue with cotton, these obviously aren’t necessary to purchase regularly. But if you happen to be like me and have a phobia of cotton or just don’t like it for whatever reason, I really think these are well worth the extra money! I’m so happy that I’ve finally found something other than cotton to remove my makeup and/or apply my skincare! I also love that they come in different size options! I think I like the larger of the two better particularly because it covers more space when removing my makeup which makes it come off slightly quicker than than the smaller ones BUT if the large was sold out I would totally just grab the small ones since they’re the exact same thing. Just a little personal preference. I hope this review is detailed enough and helpful for someone who might be interested in purchasing these! I’m very happy with my discovery and purchase, and I will continue to purchase these over and over again when I start to get low! I never want to be without them and they are definitely holy grail status for me!

I got these to use on my face, makeup remover, toner etc but I don’t care for them, they work okay but they’re not cotton and I think that texture is better for face care. I’ll put them in the bandaid/bandage box instead. Their texture is more like silk, they might have some nonstick properties but I only used them a few times on smaller injuries but it was pain free removal of them though. Anyway, you get a ton! They’ll last a long time.

I really like these "Silken Wipes." They are the perfect size, leave no lint, are very soft, and are just the right absorbency. Each wipe is 2"x2" and unfolds to 2"x4" which I find is just right for applying eyelid lotions or creams. I can wrap one half around my index finger and apply on one eyelid, then use the other side in the same manner. There is no lint or fuzz as there would be from a cotton ball or pad, or even facial tissue, and much less waste. I will buy these again. They are a good value, and work exceptionally well.

Best wipes for dry eyes that don’t leave any lint on them. Spraying Hypochlorous acid on each edge then wiping one eye followed by the other is a nightly routine though I do use it often enough throughout the day. Also occasionally I use toner on my face to remove dead skin off my face; again just a dab or two works well without the actual wipe soaking up the fluid but rather dispensing it onto my face.

I really like these, but I don't know if I would spend the money to buy them again. If I was made of money then then I wouldn't mind the price tag.

Much prefer these wipes to cotton pads

I make up guru suggested these so I gave them a try & I can tell you I will never go back to cotton pads again. These don’t suck up a fraction of the prudish-takes the tiniest bit-& they work perfect! Plus I LOVE that they don’t leave cotton fuzz in my lashes!!! This is a forever product for me, for eye make up removal especially!

Used it to apply toner and it did the job, a pretty good buy for the price however the material is on the thin side.
