Great weight loss system
In the first two weeks I've lost 6lbs! And I feel fantastic! It is truly amazing how simple it is and I don't feel deprived,hungry or cranky. However I will be honest you have to follow the instruction in the book. I have read the book, watched the DVD, listen to the cd every night and changed the way I eat and have had great results. My husband however only listens to the cd and I have not seen a change in his habits. This is no magic pill, you have to want to change. If your willing to change, this is a great aide.Update-since starting this program in May 2014, it's now October 2014 I have lost 20lbs! I didn't have much to lose I started at 144lbs and really only thought I would lose 10lbs or so but I am amazed that I am now 123.9lbs!! And the crazy thing is I'm still losing weight. Again though you have to want to change, my husband who also listens to the cd but hasn't changed his eating habits has only seen minimal weight loss

not a fan
I am a huge fan of Paul McKenna and loved his book/cd "I can make you thin"....I use it and have lost weight and felt happier...thought this is new and maybe it works even better....it didn't work for me. The cd didn't "put me under" and I never felt connected to it. His original "I can make you thin" cd takes you into a relaxed state and sometimes I even fall asleep and wake up feeling better and more in control....this cd never did that for me.

I think it's working!!
Coming from a skeptic who never thought I could even be hypnotized, (I do not like the idea of not being in control) I believe this is working. I just received this book a few days ago and after reading the book, I tried the CD. Now I can honestly say, I remember the first part of the hypnotherapy session, but I cannot recall at least 20 of the 30 minutes of it. I've tried this twice now and I still do not remember what was said. However, I have noticed differences in my behavior that have startled me. For instance, yesterday I noticed as I ate breakfast I was counting how many times I was chewing my food. I stopped for a minute amazed that I was doing that without realizing it, as I read in the book that it was something we should do. And I've noticed I don't feel overly full or have a sickening feeling of being full, but I have noticed that I am eating less and less often than normal. So far so good, I think I will listen to the CD at least once a week and see how it goes. So far, I'm amazed and happy with the results.

Didn't Work
I had a friend in the UK who swore by this and after I had my first child I did use I Can Make You Thin by him to help me lose weight, so I thought I'd give it a try. I've been doing for over a week, followed the book to the letter and NOTHING. So upsetting I really believed too, so I'm not a non-believer. I listened in the quiet and did it every day to make sure, but again NOTHING. So sad. I really wanted it to work.

Best investment of the year
I bought the audiobook and began without much hope, as nothing seemed to keep me from gaining and gaining. Well, I hesitate to use the word miraculous, but I started to use this program 6 weeks ago, following the directions in the printout and audio, and have now lost 18 pounds without any of that feeling of deprivation that comes with most diets. In fact, I feel fully confident of losing another 20 pounds, even 30, to get back to my old weight of 40 years ago. I am in the over 60 crowd and weight loss can be difficult, but no more. It actually feels natural. A bonus is that I have now saved more money than I spent on the book because I don't need to buy as much food and have essentially given up junk food altogether. It simply doesn't appeal to me any more and I am wondering how I could have gotten so far off track before. Using this program feels like coming home again after having been lost for years. I am so very grateful to the author for sharing his ideas and talents with us. Now, please, Dr. McKenna, provide us with hypnotic knee replacement surgery!Now, after 10 weeks, I have lost 22 pounds. Losing more slowly these days but happy that those old cravings are still under control. It is very important to read (and reread as needed) the written materials. After that the audio does it all.

this CD was very easy to go into a "trance"
After being "hypnotized" everyday with the "I can make you Thin" CD, this CD was very easy to go into a "trance". I feel fuller faster. I have not followed this program 100% either - however, I have lost 2 pounds. This does not seem like a lot but I have tried so many other programs and could not lose even an ounce! I look forward to losing more! I have only listened to the CD twice.

It does work!
I've been listening to this for 5 months now (purchased early August 2015, this is late Janaury 2016). I wanted to loose 45 pounds (but would have been happy loosing 5). Within 1 1/2 months, I lost 12 pounds!I most definitely eat less during a particular meal. I can feel my stomach filling up much faster, and I will have the "stuffed" feel much quicker than normal (I try to avoid the stuffed feel, although it happens occasionally).The problem I personally have is that I like to snack throughout the day. If I didn't snack, I would have lost much more. Unfortunately, I'm still at the 12 pounds lost mark. While I'm happy I've lost 12 pounds, I would really like to loose much more.Up until the last week, I would listen to the hypnosis CD throughout the day - never really allowing myself to truly meditate (e.g. While working, or cleaning, etc.). Starting last week, I've been listening to it right before going to bed (it's hard to put everything down during the day that I'm working on, to sit and meditate for 30 minutes). I think it's helping some, but can't really say after such a short time. So far, I can definitely say it helps me to sleep soundly (side benefit)!Overall review - it's worth trying. However, I'm still working on it and plan on sticking with this.

Great book an easy read
I like Paul McKenna and this book is written as part of the hypnotherapy. I have followed his four golden rules and I have noticed that at night when I would usually be searching for "snacks" even after I wonderful meal, I no longer do that. It has only been about two weeks and I have listen a couple of times. I believe that this will work for me. It is well worth a try.

didntmake a single bit of difference
I'm a fan of Paul McKenna his quit smoking today help me quit no problems but this didn't do any bit of difference

It works, It works, and wow!
Thank you Paul, this book is changing my life. I particularly love the havening. You are changing my life. This book is really amazing and everything that he says is true. I believe this is going to make the biggest difference in my life, not just in the weight loss, but in the emotional control it is providing me with.

Received Book BUT NO CD or DVD
Book is very informative but doesn't have scripts in it so needed the CD or DVD it was supposed to come with. No CD or DVD so therefore I cannot try out them method he speaks of in the book. Waste of money
