9” Fine Mesh Strainer with Sturdy Handle - Fine Mesh Sieve Ideal for Baking, Rice, Quinoa, Bone Broth

Replaced a strainer that was decades old, bent, and rusty. This one has the advantage of a second small handle opposite the main handle. It does not have the little hooks to put over a bowl or pan to hold it in place. I haven't used it yet, so can't be sure about ease of use or cleaning.

I've only gotten to use the product a couple times now but so far the product is a life saver especially since my kitchen is extremely small with limited counter space. I use the mesh strainer for cleaning rice and defrosting frozen veggies and fruits. It's makes the process so much easier when rinsing under the sink and not having to worry about small pieces (especially rice) falling through a general colander. The cleaning process takes some getting use to depending what you use with it. The handle is firm and sturdy as mentioned. The product is definitely satisfactory for me.

It's a nice sized strainer for a handheld, and stainless steel, so for that it gets three stars. But mine had faulty workmanship on the handle. They sloppily sealed/soldered/cut the two pieces of the handle, and there were both sharp edges and unfinished surfaces which would surely rust in no time. The surface on the handle around that area was also bumpy and deformed. I paid more than what all the high quality 3-pack strainers cost because I thought I was getting something well made that was an inch larger diameter than the others. Maybe mine was part of that 1% defects since no manufacturer actually achieves 100% perfection with every single item it makes.Returning it nonetheless. It was supposed to b a gift for my son.

I don't know why I wasted so many years struggling with a too-small sieve - No more! This strainer is perfect for rinsing grains and straining broth - Perfect. Plus, it's sturdy and appears to be very well made. Aside from the perfect size, I especially like the handle grip. I can't believe I'm happily gushing about a sieve, but I am! Thanks for a great product that I will use for years to come :-)

Absolutely wonderful!Very sturdy.The handle is comfortable, and the helper handle really does help, especially when rinsing or soaking over a pot or bowl.The mesh is well built into the rim, with no loose ends.The mesh is fine enough for everything I need it for, including quinoa.Good quality stainless steel.

I mostly bought it for straining coffee grounds out while cleaning my French press (messy unless you wash them out and dump them into a strainer)...and it works wonderfully for that. Even finer grounds are trapped by the mesh and easily dumped into the garbage.Works great for anything else I use a strainer for in the kitchen as well. Finest (in mesh lol) strainer I've ever owned.

I have found that small particles are not getting stuck around the rolled edge, which was my main concern when purchasing. I'm glad that it is fully stainless, and can be fully sanitized. The handle IS riveted fully through the base (as can be seen in my picture), and appears that it will last a long time.

Delivery was quick. The mesh was just right for rinsing rice without loosing any. The overall size (circumference) is just right for my needs. Throw away those toys you are using now and get this real high quality kitchen tool. Just like Hardy said to Laurel, "Well here's another nice mesh you've gotten me into".
