Nordic Ice NOR1040 No-Sweat Reusable Long-Lasting Gel Packs, 24 oz. (Pack of 3)

These have done a really good job. My family mainly got these to place in the carseat as we live in up to 115°F weather. This keeps the carseat cool without making it wet. We have also uses this in packed lunches and ut keeps the lunch fresh throught the day. We have not had any problem with leaking or breakage. They are a pretty decent size and very easy to use. It doesnt take too long to freeze.

I really like these ice packs. They stay frozen and stay colder than hard plastic packs or gel packs. My primary use is in light weight coolers for grocery shopping though I've used this brand for several hours. Because they're in a plastic type bag I wrap each one in a paper towel and put it in a freezer bag, then I freeze it. Since I've had other bags leak I can still use it even if it got punctured. I put the freezer bag into another bag that I can wash and reuse next time I shop. My fridge is small but they do fit on the door. Each one weighs about 1 1/2 pounds. A friend had given me a Nordic Ice pack several years ago and it lasted until someone borrowed it. I haven't found anything that keeps my food colder longer. I forgot to put away some groceries about 3 days ago. The hard plastic ice pack in the bag was room temp. I have another Nordic pack that I hadn't frozen. Will freeze it today and retire the hard plastic one. Unless I had a plug in freezer for my car can't imagine any other "ice" pack out there is better.

Lasts long to supply cold therapy to back.

The anti-sweat coating does a pretty good job at keeping these things from getting moist as they thaw. The coating, though, isn't terribly durable. Before long, these become just ordinary, sweaty cold packs. As a result, they're not the best value, but they are great for their intended purpose for a brief while. Certainly cheaper than owning an air conditioner, and I'd guess they're comparatively better for the environment.

Ordered these in preparation of a vacation and used them once. What we received was interesting. Half our order had ice packs with a plastic outside material while the other half had a fabric material. Didn't think much of it. I should have. While they they did a great job staying cold for our 13 hour car trip, but the issues were just starting. After unpacking our cooler, we left the freezer packs sit out so we could flatten them and put them back in the freezer. Within 2 days, they started leaking and the outside material was starting to mold. By the time we got home, our time frame to return them had expired. Completely disappointed in these packs. DO NOT BUY THEM!

I have a small lunch bag and I only use two out of the three, but they work great! Keeps my food very cold and they stay cold for the entire work day. I don't even need to put my food in the fridge at work anymore. I also love that they don't sweat. These ice packs are everything I was expecting and more. Very impressed!

These came in a gift I received and I put them in the freezer to reuse. I keep cold drinks outside for delivery people, it is hot in Florida. At the end of the day these were still mostly frozen, when my "Yeti" ice packs barely lasted an hour. Just bought a 24 pack for a foundation I work with because they are sooooo good.

These are NOT no sweat ice packs, which makes them even more flimsy. And sure enough, 9 days after the return window closed, one of the packs popped open!!! I’ll have to take a closer look at the other 2 to see if they’re coming apart, as well. I will not be reordering — I’m not spending $10 every 40 days to replace these.
