Excellent EDC knife for strict Jurisdictions!
Comes sharp but you can sharpen it very easily. Grip is non-slip and grippy and fits snug in the pocket. The handle is super comfortable and in places where 3" blades are the max this is the best design you are going to find for any self defense tasks. Lock is extremely strong and the knife looks pretty. Super light, strong clip, strong locking! Would recommend to anyone who can't carry more than a 3" blade. It's one of my favorite knives I've ever owned from Cold Steel or otherwise. Would not hesitate to buy the others in the family (in fact I plan on it).

great little knife
I like how strong the folding mechanism is. The blade holds its edge well. It is not ment to open quickly. It is a tight knife and is very hard to open with one hand.

stiff
sharp, very stiff, 2 hands to open, 2 hands to close, not aus 10a as described. if it were not so stiff, i would be delighted. i need it to deploy 1 handed.i have other cold steel knives and consider them good values, this is the sole disappointment. it is loosening up

Dangerous to close
In order to close, your fingers need to be in the way of the blade. Horrible design. Don’t waste your money.

Bang for buck
Seems like a good all around knife. A bit on the small size but cold steel quality and let’s you change out clipToMeet your needs. Worth the money.

Not what I have come to expect from Cold Strrl
The texture of the handle is very strange. Extremely rough, rougher than coarse sandpaper. The mechanism is very stiff, very hard, if not impossible, to open with one hand. Closing is sort of like closing a case lock with the lever in the middle, but again, very switch.A pro is the blade is very nice, but unfortunately, too many cons for me.

I’d buy again
I had the original one for a long time, got to say don’t much care for the stippling on the handle they put on now, but all in all still a good knife.
