Very easy to melt and does not have any sweet scent like the darker colored waxes I've used in the past. Priced for half of what I used to get it from at the health food stores. Using for balm, lotions, body oil and beard oil.For easy cleanup, heat up your containers to the melting point and wipe with a paper towel. When it is dry, it is very difficult to remove. This method will work for any wax or parafin you use.

I bought this for soap making, I melted it with Shea soap and added mica powder and essential oils. The soap came out fine but when cleaning up we found that it left a gross white residue that was almost impossible to get off the bowls and cups we had used. We ended up having to throw several away. The beeswax is nice but not particularly worth the gross residue and tricky cleaning process when making soap. I have heard of other uses, however that seem to utilize this characteristic of the beeswax such as reusable wraps for sustainable food storage where you soak a cotton sheet with the wax and it becomes a reusable alternative to plastic wrap. Overall, the product wasn’t useless, but I didn’t find it useful in my case.

In the bag it smells almost metallic, but once in my measuring cup the smell goes away. It works perfectly.

I purchased this mainly to use to make my own furniture wax and I love it! It melts fast and works for my DIY projects :) highly recommend.

This beeswax has no scent, so it was perfect for all the applications I needed it for.

Seems more like paraffin than bees wax. No odor which is a downside for me.

I will be ordering more of this item.
