Not as bright as they claimed. I'd say it's more like 65 or 75W equivalent. I also have some variation in the bulb brightness between the three that I have. At least the white color is the same among all three. The bulbs are also 1mm or 2mm shorter than the 78mm they are replacing so I had to bend the prongs in to make them fit. All in all It's the best I've found for a similar size to the halogen bulbs that were ridiculously hot. I tried another 100W equivalent that was perfect for everything, but it was just too dang big. I'll keep these...

As noted in other reviews the bulbs appear to be short, and they are in fact only 76.4 mm long, NOT 78 mm. The reduced length resulted in two of the three bulbs in the fixture not lighting.The solution is to either bend the lamp holder brackets, if practical, or add a shim between the bulb socket and the mounting bracket. I was able to bend one set of brackets enough to get a tight fit and used, non-conducting, non-flammable, material to make a single shim for each of the remaining brackets. I also noticed that the bulbs appeared brighter after tightening the bulbs in the brackets. What should have been a few minute task ended up taking over an hour.That said, the light color of the bulbs is fine for a small bathroom and a huge improvement over the 100 watt halogen bulbs (heaters) that were in the light fixture. This product would be worth 5 stars if the length as as advertised.

I bought six of these bulbs to replace five 100 watt halogen lights. The light output was only about half as bright as the halogen. I ordered two of another manufacturers bulb and when installed they were twice as bright as these. I will replace the other mistakes that I bought from here with the new ones I bought.

The product was not to spec (too small 75-76mm). I eventually had to modify my light fixture to make it fit, but once I did, brightness was about equivalent to old halogen lamp. I'd contacted the seller to discuss this and they issued a refund AND let me keep them. Once they get the manufacturing process down, would definitely recommend them. When these burn out, I'll give them another chance.

I ordered this to replace a halogen that was creating a lot of heat. These bulbs fit and provided a reasonable amount of brightness although not as bright the halogen of the same wattage.The real issue is that the bulbs do not last. They run for about a month and then they begin to flicker on and off severely. Once this starts it never stops. I ordered a three pack of bulbs and I’m now on the third bulb - the first two behaved exactly the same. Don’t waste your money on this product unless you only need it for a short while.

These bulbs fit my lamp just fine. They are super bright but to be honest it's too bright for my desk. It's can't be dimmed and also my lamp has a two stage switch which is not compatible with this bulb. On the first click the bulb flickers. It's only on the second click that the bulb works fully but then it's wicked bright! Well I guess if you have a one click lamp and need really bright light and don't want the excessive heat from a traditional incandescent bulb then this bulb is for you. I'll be wearing my sunglasses while at my desk. Not just because of the brightness of the bulb but also because i'm cool.

I read reviews from some that said they had a flickering problem, but I figured I'd try it anyhow.After 7 weeks, one of the bulbs has started flickering. I'd contact the manufacturer or distributor to see if they could replace it but Amazon makes that information difficult if not impossible to find. So far the other seem okay.What is noteworthy is when I tried to remove this bulb it was very hot which seemed unusual as I thought led lights did not produce much heat. I was unable to touch this bulb until it had been turned off for a good 20+ minutes. I will not buy again from this distributor unless they respond satisfactorily to this review.UPDATE: 4 weeks after the first bulb started flickering, a second one started flickering. No response from EBD from my original review. These bulbs are a waste of time and money and the distributor is useless.

As others have posted, this item has few lumens. As in maybe 2. It is not a 100W replacement. I’m not sure what practical use it has. Maybe a glove compartment light?

The bulbs I received were in working order but the color was not a warm white (2700K - 3000K) but a cool white (5000K +), the box just said 'white' so it is unclear whether I just received the wrong type. I did not use them in the end because of the color issue.

Quality is very low. Craftsmanship is poor. Low brightness. One lamp broke just by handling it.
