I purchased this for my Acer Predator 15 (G9-593) gaming laptop (15.6" screen but the form factor is larger than normal because it's a gaming laptop). The 15" x 9.2" ratio fits perfectly as you can see from the photo I've included. The material is a very thin microsuede which has enough texture to grip the surface so it doesn't slide around but it's not so thin as to feel flimsy. My laptop closes fine with this on. I used a cheaper microfiber cloth before but that material was a lot flimsier and slipped around on top of the laptop.I would highly recommend this to anyone who is concerned about marks from key pressure / dirt / finger oils from the keyboard appearing on their screen. Please make sure to measure your laptop dimensions so you can get the right size, this is listed for 17-inch laptops but the dimensions will fit a lot of large 15.6" laptops perfectly.

So, do you like spending your hard-earned money on a laptop, then seeing the screen with permanent scratches on it from your keyboard? Yeah...me neither.I've had two of these, and they work REALLY WELL. You can even clean them. Just hand wash with Woolite, don't wring them out, and let them hang to dry. My first one has lasted me 8 years. Just bought a second for my wife's new laptop.Run, don't walk. You found it. 😉

I use this for my Lenovo laptop. It is great and is high quality. Well worth the money to protect my screen and keep it clean! I love it!

Nice and soft cloth, it protects the screen pretty well. I shipped a laptop from overseas to the US with it and it worked great!For reference, the kindle with it was shattered.
