I was having days at work where my level of anxiety was becoming more and more heightened, and from prior experience, I did not want to have to run to a doctor and get prescribed something. Although it might numb my anxiety, I found that the usual anxiety meds being RX'd did alot more than I needed and ended up putting a overall numbness on everything I do. After alot of research and having a desire to stay as far away from big pharmaceutical as much as I can and go the natural route, so much as I get the results I'm after. There's so many different ashwagandha supplements out there that while I was off work, I literally spent days of researching and some trial and error runs on different brands. Of course since there are so many different brands I was very confused and almost overwhelmed by the thought of where do I go from here. I don't necessarily want to be a Guinea pig of my own studies and go through hundreds of brands only to not be successful by the end. But I also don't want to feel like I'm missing out on a product that actually works but I'm wasn't able to get to it before my patience runs out. From the start of my searches, I kept reading about a ksm-66 extract that seemed to be getting great reviews and one of the main reasons was that it is a standardized extract and the consistency will overall stay the same. One problem I ran into with my first couple trial runs, was from a very well known vendor that had a 2.5% ashwagandha extract, and the first bottle I went through seemed like this was the one for me.. Untill I got the second bottle and noticed I wasn't getting anywhere near an effect as the prior bottle. Thankfully I stumbled on this brand of a ksm-66 extract and decided to give it a try. And that was almost 6 months ago and I haven't even thought about looking back. The pills themselves are very easy to swallow and are in veggie caps which keep the smell/taste of the pills at bay. And the consistency really doesn't deviate, there are days where I feel my tolerance might have risen but those issues usually diminish the next day, for whatever reason. I feel that the effect I get is usually dependent on my anxiety levels. If I'm not feeling anxiety and stressed and take these, the effect is minimal, maybe a little bit of a clean energy boost. But if I'm stressed and feelings of anxiety, this is where this supplement really starts to shine. The anxiety literally melts away after about 20 minutes and a feeling of general happiness floods my mind. Overall I'm very happy with this product and will continue to purchase these and keep a clear head vs the cloudy mess that prescription anxiety medicine is known to put people in. It actually seems to do the complete opposite than typical anxiety meds, I gives clearness to my thoughts and actions and gives me a nice energy boost when I need it. Just be careful taking these too close to bedtime, at least for me I find that it gives me a little too much energy if taken before bed. **Photo is a comparison to size 00 turmeric pill.

Where to start... I've always had serious anxiety, to the point of crippling physical symptoms. In the past, I've been prescribed some of the strongest medications, both for my anxiety, and for the pain related to my IBS. I've since gotten off all meds, but have begun looking elsewhere for products that can tame the beast. Ashwagandha has been one of the better herbs/supplements I've found, and I was impressed at it's ability. If you are used to say, Xanax, you will probably not notice the effects from this, as it is mild, and not going to give you a "high." But it noticeably reduces anxiety. I take it with a handful of other supplements. I have only tried this KSM-66 standardized extract, so I do not have any other form of ashwagandha to compare it to, but it has an absolutely noticeable effect, without making me too drowsy, unmotivated or sedated. This will definitely become part of my regular anxiety treatment.

My anxiety has reduced considerably! It takes around 2 weeks to tell.... Highly recommend for people suffering from mild to moderate anxiety!

I have been taking this a few months. I can’t tell if it’s doing much, but it’s a trendy supplement at a low price. My supplement scanner app says it’s a good product.

Buy it! I can get anxious in large crowds of people and in new situations. This formula has certainly changed that for the better. I feel calmer and more social; certainly not sedated. I take two caps in the morning and one at night. My sleep has improved as well. Only negative I can claim is that it is harder to get up in the morning..which is not a bad thing on the weekends! I will certainly continue to use this product and will now take it as religious as my multivitamin. I tried the sensoril version and somehow it made me irritable and more anxious. I'm not saying sensoril is bad but I know for sure it is not for me.

I've been using ashwagandha for years and I thought I knew the good sources. Planetary Herbals makes great products. I read someone mention this KSM-66 ashwagandha so I tried this. It blows the others out of the water. This stuff is calming and energizing at the same time, clears the brain fog and helps me think. I feel strong and healthy when I take this (not everyday because the body can get used to herbs and they stop working) And the price is not outrageous. Face it, these supplement companies know that most of us are naive when it comes to herbs and they can pass off barely active crap with fancy packaging and claims and most folks won't know the difference. This stuff is different, the best.

Update - as of May 4, 2023 and several calls to HTN it looks like an Amazon credit is pending. Very disappointed! I took this product one time and had terrible nightmares along with a very restless night! I was also nauseated for several hours. I refuse to try it again but have learned that Amazon will not give a refund. I had to contact Health Through Nutrition and they were very pleasant but stated that Amazon is the seller, they accepted my money and therefore are the ones that should refund the full purchase price. Trying to contact Amazon is nothing but a vicious cycle. There is a note on the product page stating "This item is non-returnable, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement." I would definitely say this is defective because it made me sick. A refund at the very least since I only received this 3 days ago.

First review I think I've done for Amazon...this product is truly amazing, I'm now 3 days ran out and I've drastically noticed the drop in my mood, I feel a lot more tired (I'm only 30) but when I take these I feel amazing! unstoppable even, I can cope with stress easily, rarely get moody, have unlimited energy and generally feel more confident, just ordered more! please come in the next day or so!

No effect at all

Those are amazing been takeing for few weeks now feeling soo much better less ancious sleeping better and feeling more confident in fact feeling over happier, and they arrived very quickly I don't normal write reviews but hope this helps someone as much as It has me

great supplement

Product as described and dispatched promptly. It is supposed to be a potent, Indian herbal remedy. I use it for adrenal fatigue, even though this is not a condition that is recognised by orthodox medicine. However, a hair mineral test check, revealed under-active adrenal glands, i.e. low cortisol. Ashwagandha is supposed to be very helpful for this.
