The Enchanted Spellboard: Magical Messages from the Spirit World

This is my wife writing this review: This is not your typical spirit board. A lot of Ouija boards have a negative presence not because the board itself is evil but because of the negative publicity and hype. It wasn’t until recent that the spirit board got a bad rap (mostly because of kids using them and horror films). These boards have been around for thousands of years, with of course variations. I, personally, use the board by myself as I find that others can taint the board. If you can find someone on the same spiritual level as you and with the right frame of mind, it will work fine. For those who may be afraid to try it because of the stories, let me reassure you they are just stories. My family has been using these boards for generations (long line of psychics) and NOTHING negative has ever happened.Some advice:1) If you are going to call upon someone, know who you are calling upon. Be specific. I use the board to call upon my higher self because I believe that I hold all the answers to my life. Rarely, I will ask if my angels or guides if they have a specific message for me.2) Do not ask stupid questions like: “when am I going to die?”“ Is so and so cheating on me?”“ Are you good or evil?” 3) Know that your frame of mind is going to greatly effect the type of answers you will get. If you are afraid you are going to meet a demon, you are going to have an experience that reflects that. In most cases, you are not connecting with a demon but rather the fear center of your brain. The board itself is a beautiful piece of work. It is very visually pleasing and encourages a positive mindset and session. Some people find that the creases in the board effect its accuracy. I do not find this a problem. I just add a little more pressure to the planchette to get over the creases. The board is smoother than the Psychic Circle which helps with moving the planchette. I really enjoy the symbols on this board. It gives readings much more depth and meaning. It also helps increase lines of communication between yourself and Spirit. On a final note, if you read the book and follow its directions, you will find it accurate and enlightening! I highly recommend this board for the beginner and advance practitioner alike!

I purchased this board because I was really excited with the great, positive results I was getting with the Psychic Circle, by the same authors, and this board seemed like a good complement to it. However, maybe because I bought it lightly used, this board seems to have a slightly darker energy. It works, but the spirits coming through are telling me to use it at night, which I don’t want to do, and the planchette tends to move more aggressively. I tried ”clearing” the board of past energies, but haven’t used it since, yet. I think if you buy this board new, are fastidious about protection, opening and closing rituals, and feel like the aesthetic of the board resonates with your sensibilities, you’ll be OK, but based on my personal experience, I’d recommend the PC over this board. The glass planchette glides a bit smoother on this one over the ridges caused by the folding seams, which I know is an issue with the PC, but energetically, I prefer the latter. Also, this board does not feature the words ”Hello” and ”Goodbye,” so be sure to designate protocols or letters for opening and closing the session. (I use “H” and “G” instead of the full words.) In short, yes, it works, but take it seriously and take care to do things properly.

I have the Ouji Board and use it sporadically. Only when it calls me to do so. But this board is very special. The moment I cast my circle and sat with it I could feel the energy around me. I highly recommend. It's beautifully made and the guide book is well thought out and informative.

I have to say i used it three times with friends and it worked right away. It was scary though and we realized dangerous things can happen. We end up with a negative spirit on the last session that was stuck in our area for almost a month. It was very disturbing.... and will recommend those who are not sure what they are doing to don't use it. Majority of the low vibration energies, spirits are closer to the earth, to the physical level. If you are not a master of your energy, you will end up calling on this low vibration energies. And i read stories of people ending up very bad by using such type of boards. The board is done beautiful, but is still not protected in any way to receive bad spirits.

Does not work with a partner or alone. Tried for 6 months and not a thing. I use other boards successfully. The board is also a fold up like a monopoly game and has HUGE creases which I find impossible for the indicator to even move if did actually work, to solve this problem I had a thin piece of glass cut to size to put over it....STILL NOTHING. Don't waste your money!

I have to say this board is beautiful . I am giving 3 stars for the artwork, but this board did not work for me it when I used it with others. I think the board is too busy. It has so much on it that I think that could be a hindrance . I may try the psychic circle. I'm sending this board back . You all might have a different experience .

I give this item a 4 for the imagery! But, the cut of where the crease is supposed to be deducted a star from it! You seriously have to lay the board on a table and not on a floor unless it's a hardware floor like wood or tile! Do not use it on a carpet because if you do the board will literally split then you can't use the planchette for the reading! They didn't have to put a illegit cut in the board to make it easier to put away!

It came in perfect condition but I wish it has more clear instruction like where the indicator have to be located on the board when you first start using it. As for now I have not being given any message nor answers to my yes or no questions. Let see how it goes as I continue to practice.

I’m a huge fan of both Amy and Monte,they have created some beautiful and workable psychic tools over the years and this one is just as lovely.The board is nice and sturdy and the indicator is very nice and clear and glides well over the board.The board is beautifully decorated and packed with symbols along with the usual letters and numbers.The guidebook tells how to use the board, giving protection rituals to use and advice on interpreting messages.It also includes a gentle selection of simple spells to improve your life.My only wish is that the guidebook would of be thicker and given a bit more advice on using the board for spirit communication.

arrived within 2 working days it is absolutely beautiful sometimes the board does catch and sometimes it's easier with a different planchette although the planchette and the board are both beautiful the book is also Indetailed I did go on there site although there was no shipping options to the uk so recieving this with help Amazon is brilliant thank you 👌

This board is beautiful and full of colour and the images are so creative. I love the board and would recommend anyone who wished to work with the spirit world and your higher self to purchase yourself one. The board is good quality material too, so its not light and flimsy. Price is not cheap to bad but I think if you are someone who is exploring this realm, it is definitely worth buying one as an investment in yourself.

Like The Psychic Circle.... This spirit board adds some verity when communicating with the other side. And no, they're not all evil entities. Just like aliens from outer-space, why is the unknown always perceived as hostile? And it's always people who haven't studdied the subhject that appear to know the most about it. <wink>
