This Goop Works!
This helped relieve my 15 year old kitty of hairball and vomit issues. Followed directions and placed the goop on both front paws. Day 2 and 3 she had hairball vomit and by day 3 was no longer vomiting. Now I use as directed 2 times a week. Hopefully problem is solved and no further issues will arise. Brushing is helpful but my cat does not appreciate more than 3 strokes with her brush. So this is the solution and I highly recommend using this product with vet approval if your kitty has any medical condition that might prevent use of this product. After the initial dosage recommendation my kitty began gaining a few ounces from this treatment. Follow directions and observe your kitty’s presence in order to keep the goop off of furnishings etc. We placed our cat in a bedroom and she readily licked her paws clean. Cats do not like sticky paws. Good luck to all ….

It worked after 2 uses
My baby was puking and having a hard time it seemed with hair balls she is nervous and grooms ALOT. and I tried Vaseline and some other products from Walmart and Petco nothing was tasty for her but this she did not notice and after 2 uses a big chunk of hair was in her litter box and she was feeling so much better it was the best feeling seeing that In the litter as a cat mom I can say I'm not being paid for this review I genuinely want any carbon pain to have this product for their hairball issues try it.

From Meow tuna yum to meow tuna yuck
The first 2 times I purchased this product I would have given it 5 stars. Back then not only did it help the furball problem; but my 2 cats loved the tuna flavor. So much so that I was calling it their furball candy. they were coming to me to get it and eating it from the tube. The last 2 tubes , still the tuna flavor, all they do is see the tube and run away. I have still used it but it is the once again fight and pushing the sticky stuff into the fur on their legs so they can't shake it off. It's just a shame that the tuna flavor now even smells like maple and who knows what it tastes like since I do have one cat that likes sweets.

Must have for cat
My cat is 6 yrs old and we have been using this since he was 11 months. Feed him periodically with 2-3cm, it works great for removing the hair ball. My cat loves this flavor and he is comfortable after the hair ball being gone.

Gets the job done
My baby, Bitty, was constipated. She normally poops daily and she hadn’t pooped a good poop in 2 days. She had only pooped a couple very small (quarter sized) poops in 2 days and she seemed to be in discomfort. I already had this product from the summer when she seemed to be hacking up more hairballs. This was actually the first time she had ever been constipated. She is 5 years, and 2 months old, and her undercoat just recently came in over the summer (bad timing, I know!) and we also recently got a kitty that she cleans too. Anyway- I tried just feeding it to her on a spoon thinking it would be like a treat, no go. I tried mixing it with her wet food that she gets in the morning, no go. So I asked my co-worker that had recommended it, she said to mix it with Gerber baby food, I tried all the flavors I thought she might like, no go. So then I followed the instructions on the label that basically say if you can’t mix it, put it on their nose or paws. It’s extremely sticky so I felt really bad doing this, and I’m sure you will too if you love your animal, which I have no doubt you do since you’re still reading this. Anyway, I put it on her paw and of course, since she’s a clean freak, she licked it off (it took awhile, when I say it’s sticky, I mean sticky.) The next morning I expected a big poop in the litter box and there wasn’t one. So I doubled the dose the second day, around the same time. She was still having like 3-4 quarter sized poops, so on the third day, I tripled the dose. And please don’t do what I did! It is not in the directions on the back at all. I’m a nurse, so of course, I think I am above directions- which I am not, and I know I should know better, but of course I started googling complications of constipation in cats, and mega-colon and all these things came up so I figured diarrhea was better than death. (Since as a nurse I’m programmed to think worst case scenario all the time). Anyway on the 4th day she started having diarrhea and it lasted for about 3-4 days. The first couple poops that came out were hard and firm from where she was constipated, but after that my poor baby lived by the litter box for the next couple days. I say that to say this- the product 100% works. Don’t be like me and try to rush the results. ESPECIALLY if you have an older cat. Luckily my Bitty is only 5, but if she was elderly I could have dehydrated her! Anyway the product is amazing and works, only downside is your cat might not like the flavor or texture, but if he or she needs it then I’m sure you’ll find a way to get it down. Also now that Bitty is all better, i started giving her hairball control dry food, and I put a probiotic supplement in her wet food in the morning to keep her regular. It’s been about a month since the constipation, and we haven’t had any issues.

Absolutely horrible - our 4 cats won't go near it and another similar product
I purchased two of these - all made from the same company, but marketed under different brand names. We picked the tuna flavor. When both tubes arrived, we realized that this is all the same product, same ingredients, same tube size, etc. They took this product and marketed using different catchy names, but made by the same company - so be vigilant about this.We sooo wanted this gel to work - because our 4 indoor cats tend to choke up quite a bit with hair balls. But alas, nothing worked. Our cats won't even go near this gel. We tried putting some on their mouths in order to cause a licking action, but they did so and you could see they absolutely hated the taste and sticky texture. Now, whenever I go to unscrew the cap on the tube, the cats will go running away - what a waste of money. The same can be said for the other tube (similar product - in fact, the ingredients are the same). My cats hated it - a total waste of money!Remember, this product uses petroleum products in this gel (petrolatum) - yuck! And somehow, our cats can sense this. Would we lick a gel that had petroleum products in it? I don't think so.This was a complete waste of money for us. If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. Both tubes that I purchased are sitting on a shelf as none of the cats will near them.
