Well constructed Salt & Pepper Mill. Relatively easy to load with salt and peppercorns. I like the feature that I can see the remaining amount and then know when to add accordingly. I wasn't sure whether you could adjust the grind, especially on the peppercorns, as sometimes it is better to grind it fine and other times, to have a coarse grind. Maybe I'll have to get another pepper mill that has adjustable grind. I do a like of cooking and it is essential to have a good salt/pepper mill handy. However, this works well at the dinner table, attractive, and serves its purpose

I've only had the grinder for a week so I don't know how it will hold up. I like that it is made of stainless steel, has 2 chambers for salt and spices, has different grind sizes, and has caps to contain the excess ground spices. The grinder mechanism seems sturdy. I don't like the height because it barely fits in my spice cupboard though it may not matter to others. I ground fennel seed to see it they would fall through and not get ground. The grinder did an excellent job with the 2 grind sizes I tried.

Darn it, I was NOT given a free grinder in exchange for my review... but they did send a nice note after purchase and asked for a review, so here goes.My totally unbiased review... I LOVE this thing!#1 It looks great- logo on the cap is unobtrusive, #2 The clear chamber let's you see the salt and pepper which not only looks good, but you know when you're running low#3 It grinds effortlessly. .. I have a broken wrist, and still have no problem with the ease of use#4 It is soooo easy to fill! What a great change from trying to funnel in peppercorns without losing half of them on the counter#5 It holds quite a bit in the chambers so you refill less often#6 The grind is adjustable. It took a bit of playing with the adjuster dial since there are no instructions, but that's okay. The coarsest grind is still a bit finer than my old mill but I noticed today that the pepper actually seemed to be a stronger flavor. Maybe this is what my old grinder was trying to do? I like it, and I'll probably use less pepper!#7 I filled the opposite side with red Hawaiian salt. I usually just sprinkle the coarse salt on the food, but this is really nice. And again, I'll probably use less salt this way because it reaches more area, but still has the same great flavor.#8 Did I mention that it looks great? Very clean and sleek. Nice sturdy spice chambers... not flimsy at all. It feels like a quality item.#9 It's so handy to have salt and pepper in one container! And the caps are so easy to go on or off, and no loose grinds on the counter.#10 It got here in 2 days with Amazon Prime. I ordered more red salt to go with it, and I am a happy camper.

I purchased the YAMO salt and pepper mill because I loved the look and liked the idea of having salt and pepper together in one device.The mill looks great in person. The size is good and it holds plenty of peppercorns and large, course salt. It's easy to hold and easy to mill.Setting the grind size on my mill has been difficult on one size. I end up getting powdery salt no matter how loose I adjust the setting on that side. So, maybe it's not difficult to set, so much as the grind selector just doesn't work properly on one side. The other side is great, so possibly I just got a bad one.Another thing I've noticed over time is that the snap-on lids will sometimes just fall out on their own, which is pretty frustrating.I love the look and the idea of this mill, but would love some better quality control over the manufacturing of it.I doubt I'd buy this item again based on my experience.

In hindsight I'm not sure I really care for having a salt grinder, I mean salt tastes the same whether you grind it right away or a year ago, but one could easily just fill both chambers up with pepper. It's good to have that option. I do like the look and design of this mill, the size seems just right as well. It's not absurdly large as some pepper mills are, and it's also not so small that you need to frequently refill it.One thing to mention that I didn't really think about before buying is that the caps easily pop on and off, so I usually pop it off and leave it on the counter, then just set the mill on top of the cap to pop it back in. I know that doesn't really sound interesting but when you are moving around a lot in the kitchen it's nice to just set it down on its cap and not have to two hand the thing to get the cap back on. I'm usually moving around in the kitchen a lot because I'm a bad cook, haha.I do wish there was an electronic version of this though. Other than that I love this thing and use it a lot!::::Update - 2/2017I just wanted to add an update that I'm still using this grinder and really like it. One of the caps has become lose and falls off a bit easier than the other side, but it's not a big deal. Overall I've been very happy with this!
