Great taste, just the right amount of caffeine
I fell in love with matcha lattes when I tried them at Starbucks. (Dunkin Donuts also has them) But paying $4-6 bucks a cup was not a good deal, so I went on a search for this at the grocery stores so I could make my own. This stuff is amazing. The flavor is sweet but not overwhelming like the ones at Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. I no longer drink coffee because it makes me jittery, and this stuff has just a light caffeine kick without making me jittery and doesn't disagree with my stomach.I know there are 12g of sugar per serving, but one or two a day is not bad, plus you can use fat free milk (or half fat free milk and half boiled water) and not add extra sugar. If you're watching your sugar intake, they have regular matcha powder to which you could add honey or whatever else you please, but the Rishi Sweetened Matcha is one of the best I've had, without that grassy aftertaste. The price is not great. If follow the 1 tbsp per serving suggestion, you only get about 10 drinks out of it, so it's not the greatest money saver, but these cost $8.99 at Wegmans and Fresh Market and they're almost never in stock, so getting them here saves a little money and time. Still better than the $4-6 a cup at Starbucks and DD, plus I am almost positive it's way less sugar than at those places. In summary, great taste, good for those looking for a small caffeine kick without jitters, good source of antioxidants, but a little pricey.

Yes get it
This is my daily go to Matcha. I think it’s sweet and just enough it’s great, hot or iced. I have no other words it tastes, nice and natural. It doesn’t have an artificial flavor to it at all. It’s really easy to prepare. It doesn’t come lumpy the packaging arrived in tact. for someone who’s trying to switch from popular chain to making their own Matcha at home this is the great in between because it’s pretty sweetened. You can still add more sugar but if you need to you can just drink it as is with either hot water or some sort of hot milk.

Love it! Love it
Love it! Love it! Love it! I always go to starbucks and order a green tea latte with soy and 5 pumps of classic because i like my green tea sweet. So i decided to save money and buy this. I thought that nothing could ever compare to starbucks but i was wrong! This stuff is GREAT and it taste exactly like starbucks. I have not finished the package yet and so far i drank 3 8 oz cups and i still have a lot left. I used 1 tablespoon for 1 8 oz cup.Note: The machata powder is sweet and does not need added sugar. I used 1 tablespoon of machata powder, vanilla flavored almond milk, and a little bit of vanilla extract because i saw it in a you tube video. Also you don't need to try to dissolve the powder , it mixes very well.

This is delicious but...
This is really delicious! I bought it through Amazon Fresh Delivery initially to make the iced latter that Starbucks makes. Mostly everything about this product was perfect. The taste is delicious but I believe I read that real matcha is supposed to be dark green so I assume this is culinary. It says to sift it but I didn't feel the need to do that because I had a personal blender and the outcome was very smooth and creamy.I mix mine with Silk soy milk, Torani sugar free syrup and then blend for about 5 seconds. The amount I paid for is not necessarily bad but it could be more. This is only 11 servings but with the personal blender I could probably stretch it to 14 servings. As someone who is prediabetic, I am working on not consuming sugar. For this reason alone is why I will not continue to purchase this product due to the amount and the fact that it is cane sugar. Other than that I would recommend it to others who do not mind sugar intake.

Love this Matcha
I have been drinking Rishi Sweet Matcha for a few months now. I started when I gave up coffee and wanted something special to drink. I make this 3-4 morning per week, and brew tea on other days. While I have not tried other brands of sweet matcha, I have to say that the two reasons I haven't are the 1. I really like this brand, and 2. the cost of this brand is more affordable than most if not all other brands while being that tasty. I guess I may try an unsweetened matcha to mix with sugar from home to make it more cost effective (maybe) at some point, but for the time being I'm going to stick to Rishi. Note that I make my matcha with 1/2 water and 1/2 whole milk and it is wonderful like that. I prefer it a bit lighter than making it with only milk, which is a bit rich for the morning. I also tend to use slightly less of the powder per cup than is called for, while I see others say that they use more to make it stronger. I'd rather stretch the matcha, since it can get a bit expensive over time. I order from both Amazon and Vitacost, depending on where I happen to be putting in an order at the time, and I order 5 boxes at at time. I go through around 2-3 boxes per month, depending on how often I make it.

Sweet matcha
I originally purchased this at Whole Foods, for a lot more, I might add. And loved it so much I needed to find a more reasonable price to get it again. It is a sweet matcha, so if you like a stronger matcha taste, I’d suggest purchasing one that’s purely matcha ground powder as well. But nonetheless, excellent product.

Too sweet for me
This is just matcha powder with cane sugar added. In order to make a latte with it you need to add milk. I love matcha and green tea in general, but I think this is too sweet and I wouldn't buy it again. (I also have a sweet tooth, so that's saying something!) I've tried Rishi's matcha powder in the single-serve packets, which don't have sugar added, and I don't love the taste of those either; they also clumps a lot in cold water. I am, however, a huge fan of almost all of Rishi's loose leaf teas, and their bagged Matcha green tea is divine. If you want matcha powder I would recommend Kiss Me Organics' Organic Matcha powder over both this and Rishi's matcha powder - just add sugar to taste, if desired (and of course milk if you'd like).
